The history of Latin America is complex. It also depends which part of Latin America we are speaking of. Places like Mexico, and their idea of La Raza Cosmica, brought a mixed Europeans, Persians, Natives, Africans and even some Indians to name a few. Places like The Dominican Republic are mostly Africans and Europeans. Places like Guatemala and El Salvador are mostly Native Indigenous people mixed with Europeans. El Salvador was too poor for slaves, so it never had a large African population. It's not as simple as oh, all Latinos are this or that. Its a wide scope and Nations like Mexico are definitely not united by race or skin color.
You'll have to look into your own history to see what makes you up. The idea that Latinos/Hispanics are all brown people is a simplification and not true. You'll be very surprised at what you might find in your lineage. This isnt even bringing up the fact that the Indigenous Americans themselves most likely came from an area near Tibet as the original Indigenous people looked very similar to them.
Here are some clues to help you:
1.Curly or wavy hair
Depending on the color and amount of curl, this could be indicator of Eurpean or Persian decent. If your hair have very tight and coarse, maybe African.
2.Eye color- If you or anyone in your family's history has/had colored eyes, this could be because of European or Persian decent.
3. Skin Color- I feel this is pretty self-explanatory, if you have very dark skin, you're probably mixed with Africans. If you are brown or dark brown, most likely native. If you are a lighter skin tone you're mixed with Europeans. If you're white, then you are or are mostly European.
4. Parents- We know that we get the soul from the mother. Your father helps create the physical manifestation of the body. So, look at your mother with the things I said above. Maybe you can figure out the origin of your soul.
In conclusion, Latinos/Hispanics are mixed and it's hard to say what race they really belong to. It depends on your personal lineage. Ask your parents and grandparents about the relatives that are no longer around. What did they look like? Where were your Great Great Grandparents from? What were their names? I hope this was heloful and you find the answers you're looking for!
