Hey, I generally don't like meat that much so I turned to other sources of protein. I grew fond of soy, but I've heard that consuming soy few times a week increases your estrogen levels and such, I'm a man so that's obviously not something desired for me and I tried to look into it, but some sources claim that it's a myth and some sources say that it's the truth so I decided to ask here if consuming soy at least once a week is dangerous for a man.
Also I want to ask if it's true that for optimal muscle recovery after working out(I do bodyweight training) I need to consume approximately 1 g of protein for every pound my body weights or is it just a scam to get me to buy those protein supplements.
