HI, I came across a guy on YouTube, "Danji spiritual", and he's talking about massage the area of the root Chakra, that it releases energy to the whole body, lots of energy. I would like to know how okay is it to make this a practice. Thank you

Don't take youtubers seriously, real knowledge is only on JoS, if you believe what the guy is saying is useful then go ahead, but everything you need is on JoS, everything else is either useless or misinformation.
Hold your horses!
I should add that there are definitely sources outside of JoS that are valuable, but those are few and most contain a lot of stuff to be filtered out so it requires knowledge. For newcomers it's definitely best to stick to JoS only for a period of time, but as one grows it becomes neccessary to use sources outside of JoS to gain more insight.
Prime example is pinklotus.org. JoS has only one kriya taken from there, but there are myriad of other kriyas and info related to spirituality there. Just need to be discerning with what comes around and not take everything at face value.
However even considering this it's hard to add much into meditations outside of JoS as what is being offered to us for advancing comes from the Gods themselves and random youtube channels are more or less watered down or corrupted info which I would not bother with.
Sources outside the JoS are only "necessary" to those with lesser insight and overall lesser spiritual intelligence. The JoS itself contains everything already, encoded in different levels of reading. Too many people focus only on the surface/literal level and end up growing dissatisfied once they reach a certain level. Or, worse, they jump straight ahead to meditations that are beyond their level, then they get annoyed because "it doesn't work" when in fact they haven't developed energy sensitivity yet or have burnt themselves out already.
JoS is the most complete and advanced source available. The only possible exceptions are the secret archives of the Vatican and certain hieroglyphic scriptures. Anyone by the simple act of advancing can get to higher levels and not need anything external. Simply re-reading stuff six months or a couple of years later, may lead you to realisations you never had when you read the first time. Why? Because you're on a whole different level than before, more curses have been lifted and your soul is cleaner. With all of those elements comes less interference to the higher mind. Everything works synergistically.
I also disagree with the babysitting culture we have had here on the forum and I'm guilty of it too. Babysitting creates a parasitic relationship where the babysitted person becomes dependent on the babysitter and is incapable of advancing past certain levels on their own, always having to come back to their mediator of knowledge. There are no mediators in JoS. There is only you and the Gods. What makes someone at a lower level worthy to go to the next stage, if they do not put 100% effort in advancing and expect knowledge to just fall on their lap because they asked? Nothing.
Many people have been guilty of asking stuff that's already on JoS over and over, because they just can sit 5-10-30 minutes to think things through. "How do make "x" working?" There are pages on timing, runes, specific mantras, steps of witchcraft, etc. Sit down and learn how to put the information together, instead of having others do it for you, as nothing great ever started from laziness. Certainly, not spiritual wisdom and advancement. "What should my routine include?" There is a page about standard meditation schedules on JoS. There are also remainders at the end of both the 40-day programme and the spiritual warfare training programme of what's important.
I'm glad things are improving in the last months and less babysitting is being asked for. Exceptions have been of course certain newbies, certain trolls, etc. who only speak the language of most Millennials and Zoomers: entitlement, rather than merit.
In conclusion, true help comes in the form of clarifying real doubts and teaching people, as well as advising out of a really difficult situation, not by spoon-feeding people who feel everything should automatically fall on their lap just because they exist. As far as external sources go, they are optional, not necessary.
