The thing is, if you know you can't control something, by default you have to able to not let it affect you. Unless of course you actually are able to do something about it, take steps in the proper direction.
At the end of the day, you have to decide, do you want this to needlessly affect you emotionally? Especially if you can't do anything about it? It just isn't healthy for you to worry, and even if you could send energy and focus into this issue, you still want to remain as positive as you can. Only worrying about it will definitely get in the way of your energy and focus.
Other members can chime in but a few meditations that can help are:
- Closing your charkras for a couple of days, as a way to temporarily detach from your environment.
- Vibrating SATANAMA into your aura, this helps to bring back a feeling of peace into your spirit.
- Invoking Air, this would help you detach from your emotions and give you a strength over them.
Again, wether this issue is in your control or not, one of the best things you can do for yourself and in general is to remain in control of your emotions and balanced overall. I'm not saying you can't ever feel bad or worried, just don't be consumed by it.
