One question has been troubling me for some time. Why do new age people focus so much on and emphasize the importance and significance of the heart in relation to the rest of the body, while we Satanists emphasize the brain and the solar plexus chakra? Why do so many new age concepts preach a higher electromagnetic field of the heart compared to the brain?
Now, I'll explain it briefly without elaborating too much. Observe the heart chakra (that is, the fourth chakra in the chest. It's a misnomer actually, but that's okay, we understand that we are talking about the fourth chakra).
The heart chakra is a connector. Observed, it literally has the shape of a yoni because it has to connect the upper chakras to the lower ones. The upper Feminine part of the chakras soul and the lower Masculine part. It doesn't actually have any real power (or rather, it has powers, but they are typically not things we would call "powers," but abilities, I'm still thinking succinctly).
Now: you know how the best way to have power over a person is to leverage their heart? Observe also on TV. Singers or stuff like that who audition on TV programs, when they are incredibly out of tune, go on about how much they love their poor sick mother (love+compassion) and thus "charm" the will of the audience.
A religion that appeals to the heart chakra has power over others. Because it is easier to make you a perfect slave if you can only use the heart in your powers. Now, having a heart chakra is not only useful (it is still an important connector, and besides it can project energy outward, including the soul itself can go out through the heart chakra for astral travel), but having it is ALSO NICE! Think about how much we like to hug our romantic partner to feel the two heart chakras close together, etc. It feels good.
But everything has to be used in the right way at the right time. You don't romantically adhere to a person with the base chakra, right? Therefore you would not want your only power to come from the heart chakra. Would you rather in a dangerous situation, activate the power of your heart chakra which is a connector, or your sun chakra which for example is good for protection?
