I read here, https://joyofsatan.org/www.angelfire.com/empire/serpentis666/Necronomicon.html that he was basically torn apart by unseen entities in the street. Is this what really happened? I don't think our Gods would tear him apart on the streets, or maybe his death was lied about? Or did the enemy come with invisibility cloaks and do that? Or did our Gods punish him for something? I mean, I have a feeling our Gods would protect someone from literally being torn apart. And his name also means "slave/worshipper of the devourer". Does anyone know about this? Thank you.

I read somewhere that he was tortured by being blinded, cut or stabbed, don't remember the details. Imo that could've been what happened, I mean when else have we ever seen something like a person being torn apart by something? Or maybe he fucked up doing spiritual alchemy and his body just suddenly went poof.
