I haven't studied incels, so I don't know, but like with anything, things happen. Notice all of the different types of subcultures - there are media (music, films, etc.) targetting these audiences. If those advertisements, merchandise (both toys and gigs/events, etc.) and whatever else are successful and gain money, then they will seriously drench that target audience, and that portion of the market, with the same things. This goes into Psychology - if one's emo, chav, skater, punk, whatever... they all, each, have things directed to, and targetting, them.

This is a general evaluation of the situation in the west. This person was specifically talking about Incels , not common people who are not getting sex. I've known people who met at libraries btw, you notice someone reading a book you've read or are interested in, and chat about it (quietly of course because of the no loud talking rules) and then maybe make plans to go for coffee or whatever and then take it from there. It happens. Maybe not the most exciting way to meet someone but better than not trying at all.

You hear all the time about couples who meet through common friends or family members, or shared interests in activities. Of course a lot of people meet in bars because that's their shared activity lol, but there are more ways.

Yeah, I'm not the "game" type, I go hard against that bullshit when someone promotes it. Thank you for the advice, although that's easier said than done now here in Italy, green pass for everything is needed, gonna have to try my luck when hiking lol.
