I see videos on social media where a few pagans are working with gods (zeus lilith apollo hecate hermes etc.) and they are upset about the US elections and when the flames of the gods' candles move *zeus' candle is moving, he is very angry and apollo's candle is not moving, it is very quiet so I am scared* and they make the gods' candles listen to a song and when the flames of the candle move, the gods are happy
Are they high ? and I know that the flame of the candles has meaning when they move but not like this
then why the candles are moving and the other candles are not moving
This kind of video is completely unreliable considering that the answer these people want to hear is exclusively the one they will give themselves, to then publish the video on social media and say: "did you see? I was right, [...Zeus...] can confirm!"
I consider it truly disgusting to exploit the Names and Existences of the Gods to promote one's own vision of things on social media. But aside from that, if you blindly trust everything that is said about the Gods on social media at the level of "influencer experiences", you're going to go crazy because it's often rubbish.
I have literally seen, regardless of "political divinations", truly EMBARRASSING videos of idiots who told how "they had made a pact with Loki to exploit his power in exchange for some apples" or rubbish like that, Wiccans, but not only. Too often similar really stupid videos are excessively common.
Technically, social media could be a strong means to set a good example, perhaps by showing workouts, sharing ethical principles, explaining popular knowledge, etc. Instead, they are exclusively used to spread and promote people's mental illnesses in which the Gods are often unfairly implicated.
Obviously the Gods are not really there, but these people exploit their Names, without even really knowing them, but probably having browsed through some Wicca book highlighting the chapter titles or something without any real depth.
What I wanted to explain to you was to advise you not to waste time believing everything that goes around on social media about the Gods. Once on TikTok I even saw a JEWISH girl (literally, by her own admission) telling her "experiences" with the Greek Gods. This is to make you understand the level of reliability in these videos.
The more years I have lived, the more I have become completely certain that the Gods are here on JoS and that is it. JoS takes the Gods seriously, always has. And has always worked for them. That morning when I prayed to Satan and told him that I wanted to know him better, but I didn't know where to look because everyone was saying different and macabre nonsense about Satanism, I am truly grateful that at that moment the name "Joy of Satan[as]" came to mind.
It was truly the greatest gift to me, a simple answer like that. Reading the JoS website, I fell in love with Satanism and made the dedication that same evening. JoS is truly something indescribable. These videos on social media have NOTHING of what JoS has given me; they do not even remotely give me anything even remotely similar. Not these videos, nor any other source.
HAIL JOS! Let's try to never take this for granted, because that would be like taking the Gods and their concrete presence in our lives for granted...
