Stormblood said:Looks great, thank you. Hopefully it can be rolled out to more than just the homepage. I'm available for any help.
It will, no worries. We are rolling in with changes on the whole site, page by page, but without jeopardizing the originally "reader" content of the site.
New links, new articles, new links inside articles to learn faster. We also are going to incorporate other projects that have been worked on, to combine it all in a seamless manner but without altering the original purpose of anything at all.
Fiery Pluto said:I like very much the pagan artworks. The new layout is very good because the images make immediately clear a relation between the pagan religion and Satanism. In this way people would be more interested in reading our content, avoiding a reaction based on mental programming.
Absolutely FieryPluto, that is very proper reasoning, and yes, it will strike as an attack against errant programming that will help many people "get it" faster.

Blessed be all of the family of Satan, The Joy of Satan.
Together, we grow as individuals.
I am so grateful for the Gods.

Me too, and I can't really put it in words.

Did neither, suddenly it did work.
We are actively working and resolving all of these things right now, so no worries. Soon, everything will be seamless and flawless. We will be keeping here a log of all the updates, so they are publicly visible.

This is exciting. At first I wasn't so sure about updating the original homepage of JoS, as like many older members I have it permanently memorized, but this looks really good. It does not take away from the original character, and the pictures are beautiful.
It is all very clear and well organized. Thank you JG ApolloAbove for your hard work on this, and HP HoodedCobra.
I remember how HPS Maxine made it so there was a version where people could access it without graphics issues even on older phones or with poorer connections. There were versions where people could get the pages with greater ease and print them easier as a result. It would be helpful to keep that in mind as it makes a big difference to alot of people (especially those younger starting out) in the end.
We might as well include in a little "hidden" or less evident link, towards the bottom, a "printer friendly version" of the site. Thank you for this.
I have an extreme emotional attachment to the previous design, but on the other hand, we have to adapt and improve. I believe the whole underlying style remains unchanged.

Although I kind of miss the introductory text on the front page, it is nonetheless intriguing and nice to look at (I guess I am just being nostalgic). It is easy to navigate through the pages, which is excellent! I love the glow up of the fonts when I point at one of the categories
All in all, excellent work!
I am extremely nostalgic as well. The situation is, the text exists below. Pictures are powerful, they attract. As we move in the future, many people have a very poor attention span, and many cannot even focus to read properly. That site will work for both readers and that category.
Thank you for your kind words.
Bipolar Bear said:Thank you very much HP Hooded Cobra and JG ApolloAbove for the beautiful and elegant new look. The main page really deserved it. We need to look modern and presentable. Not that the old page was bad, but I personally found the page being divided between categories on the left and the disclaimers on the right to be really distracting, I am glad that is now changed.
Hail Satan!
Thank you, we have heard all feedback for years now since the last update. However, we were holding on until other things were in place. Then we initiated the update.
There will be more updates.
Henu the Great said:Nice. I am interested in how this applies to our translation efforts. We should also update other language pages, right?
Yes, we will move over all changes to all of the Translation Communities after they are fully live on the main site, and the main site is updated. That will also give people new articles to translate and so on. Many are already translated in the library.
I estimate around 70 to 100 pages might go into the Joy of Satan and many more after the update. Many are from Satan's Library, which will be incorporated in the JoS site.

I was panicking that it would be this new technology. That my old iPhone cannot read.
But it looks great and works fine with the old pages still working in the links.
No!! We are making sure nobody will be left behind. The idea is that this would work from a year 2000 laptop, all the way to the latest technology, and better on both.
Dypet Rod said:Aquarius said:It's completely broken for me, unfortunately.
I believe that's only when we access it through our former bookmarks. I did so and nothing was opening for me either. But when you access it specifically through the link shared by HP Hooded Cobra, it works just fine.
Also, hello everyone! Long time no see.
We are making sure all link related issues are resolved, and that all links are clearer, while simultaneously all previous linking of pages works seamlessly.
AFODO said:This is very great from many viewpoints.
1. It's easier to memories which section is which, as you don't have to read anything, you recognize it from the picture.
2. It gives more room for more sections
3. Looks cool
I wish the pages would be updated with current knowledge. Maybe that would be the most important, more important than visuals.
Everyone has made important points about the pictures, thank you. We will keep this in mind.

I know various spots need updates and I was wondering if a thread should be started dedicated wholly and soley for Testimonials and giving thanks. That way when that section gets it's chance to be updated you have plenty of material to use.
We all know tons of idiots that want to sing the praises of god so why not give the true God Father Satan his due credit and proper praise? We all know that such praise hasn't been heard in this world for such a long time.
Hail Father Satan
YES!! This testimonials needs a serious update, and it is up to the community to fill all of this page with endless glory to the Gods!
Must happen immediately!!
Also, Art, Poetry, Music and so on. I want a dedicated page inside the Testimonials with all the art everyone has ever written for the Gods. Maybe a "random" article of poem or praise could show up when one clicks in the poems, with a selection for "Random Poem". That will give everyone's work a visibility into the eyes of others.
