THE ABSOLUTE CHALICE (kevala kumbhaka)???

After a lot of years of a possible repression of a natural state I found myself in, I finally found it written in a book of yoga.

I almost always in meditation arrive at this state of not needing to breath, an extremely comfortable and normal state, with no desire nor need of inhaling, but a supreme serenity and beauty feeling of the tranquil body. I always was scared to stay in this state more than 2 minutes, as I wondered then and now If something like this can kill or destroy the brain.

I sometimes found myself in sleep not breathing in suspended meditation for at least 10 minutes, which is terrifying to conclude.
I know the body has tremendous power, and in comatose frequencies can survive with only a heartbeat a couple of minutes, but it is something at the edge of reasoning.

I know I can stay in this state more than 10 minutes, with no breath. The feelings are intense and the spiritual nature is extremely tempting, but I always stopped because I didn't knew if it's natural. Today I found this in a yoga book.

I need your guys opinion, HP if could give me advice would be perfect. I want to know if it's safe to exists and approach now this trance of no breathing, which seems very natural. My fear was of suiciding myself over it, but seeing is written changes things. I desire to experience this to hours on end, and yes it's totally possible.

breath without effort at any point of in- or out-breathing. To do this,
breathe regularly for some time, in-breathing for four AUMS and
breathing out for eight AUMS; then stop wherever convenient, and
hold the breath for sixteen AUMS.

without breathing in or out, everyone calls the Absolute Chalice,

every time this happened to me, I immediately voluntarily resumed breathing.

I think this can be dangerous.

I'm honestly conflicted on this, it sounds stupid, but feels the opposite. I know the moments of forgetting to breathe, but I consider this totally something else. The stopping of breath is natural and comes effortlessly, the feelings are of intense relaxation and a blisfull feeling of completion or adoration|love. The body gets oxygen somehow or it doesn't and it is something else.

This might be the most laughable fail of mine, I am totally aware of all the implications, at least argument wise against it, and I agree. Yet I am extremely tempted to go further. Don't know what to do..

I studied as much as I could, there's no one to write on this and explain or expand on it, only what was written ages ago by real yogis. I know it isn't a corruption, only because I experienced before I even knew such existed, and it has meaning for me now.

The only thing stopping me in pursuing that state was fear, and the fear was also founded by feeling an explosion of emotions and bliss waiting for me if I remain in it, and it was constantly overwhelming to my sustenance and power of being.
 
I felt this in a trance before making an astral trip, when I woke up in a dream and returned to the body in that state, since I never reached the trance directly. Either I was frightened by not feeling the breath, and I was short of breath and I woke up trying to move, or I relaxed and made the astral trip.

I wasn't even a Satanist at the time, I didn't feel that well, I just wanted to get out of my body right away to experience the mood, maybe it doesn't even have anything to do with the topic and I'm not as advanced as you are, I just mentioned the fact, because I remember that. I hope someone will answer you, and that you will do the best for you.

Yes , stoping the breath is a technique from which you can leave the body, although I believe it very dangerous in unawareness circumstances. The breath is what keeps us enclosed in the body. Spontaneous astral projection must be naturally happening, without forcing it, as when voluntary desiring with techniques like these, might happen to do things that you are unaware of. You actually helped me as you reminded me of a book that details this very thing and collaborating it with my past experiences, it is very truthful. Thank you.

Seeing this message just now brother! Glad it reminded you of that book. I've heard of dangerous breathing techniques for astral travel, but I never did. What I did was at the time when I was a new era, trying to open my 3 eyes, for clairvoyance, but I started having lucid dreams and astral travel, or I woke up in a paralyzed body with slow or null breathing, then it depends on how I I felt at the moment, anxious, afraid, or relaxed, forced my way out. But I read a topic by HP Cobra, that astral travel being a beginner doesn’t help, it’s just deluding yourself, so the most important thing is here and now hahaha Happy meditations to you!
