I don't know how helpful is this post or if it is of any relevance but I remember 2 strange happenings as I was meditating on a bridge, near a natural reservation some years ago (3 or 4). This bridge was suspended over a river (artificially directed so it formed quite a wide and rapid flow , although shallow) , I have the feeling this is important , as I would use the sound of the river to zone into my meditations (sometime going well into the evening or even night on quite a few occasions).
The bridge I'm talking about was suspended at around 8 meters or so above the water surface and it was made out of very thick steel cables and metal platform paved with massive wood planks. (quite long also)
This was great as I could feel any footstep from any end of the bridge and I knew when to go quiet with my mantras if any passer-by decided to cross it. Of course occasional scares of having the sensation somebody would walk on it to find out nobody was there (at least physically) was the norm after a certain point.
But there are those very 2 events that stuck with me and for some reason forgot, only to remember presently.
First one: Evening came and, of course I was still on the bridge, doing my exaggerated meditation/workings schedule. I was doing the Surya mantra, as per usual, and in rapid succession (5 or so with each breath). After going at it for a while , my hearing started to become alterated , and what was my voice started to modulate in a very high and very low tones (like an actual frequency). This frequency started to become less and less broken till I started to hear clearer sounds , as though I was tunning into a more streamlined input.
I heard what I can only describe as a very large hall, and very imposing voices engaged in some sort of conversation no longer than a few unintelligible syllables. I didn't experience any visions of kind , but I really had the impression I entered that space (I was only looking at the dark sky and maybe had tunnel vision as I was experiencing this , of course I was still chanting the mantra).
There was a pause in the voices and then after a moment of "silence" in the hall, the sound started modulating again, until I got back to hearing my normal voice , baffled as I was zoning out of it.
I can't say for sure it was necessarily an interaction of sorts there or if I truly experience the "real deal" but it really was a powerful experience.
Second one:
Same bridge, evening has passed and night set in. I was doing my mantras , and I had a sensation there was something behind me. I turn my torso and head for a brief second, still doing the mantras, and I'm sure I saw an orange sphere of light hovering at a decent yet close distance over the bridge ,at an angle.
I cannot estimate , but it was not in the distant sky , cause the surrounding area (trees and all), was also lighted by the orange glow , despite the artificial sources of light (some service street lights type here and there , along the trail).
My immediate instinct , although mixed with fear and disbelief , was to not react, turn my head forward and continue with whatever I was doing. After a solid 20-30 seconds , I turned back again and there was no light in the sky anymore. I felt somewhat relieved, but still quite shaky about it. Maybe stayed another 5 or so mins and went home.
Might've been easier to just not care too much about it if those two events were distant in time from one another, but I'm sure they happened almost the very next day so to speak.
Does anybody have similar stories? Thank you for taking the time to read mine. Hail Satan!
