You may be surprised to learn that no scholar believes that Rabbi Yeshua was born in 1 C.E. The NT says that he was born during the reign of King Herod the Great, so it must be before 4 B.C.E., because that's when King Herod died. Of course we know he never existed.

If we could measure it in a different way we could choose an important event that happened, like 2003 when the Demons were freed. It would be now 20 Y.F.D. (year after the freeing of the Demons).

I think how it is now, is a good reminder to fight everyday our spiritual battles.

When we have finally won, we can declare this year SS0. As it would show a new beginning for humanity.

Also for registration, it stuff the old system can still be used.

People would not like to rethink there birth time for example 1950 to 6234 it makes no sense.

Ancient pagan civilizations had a very different concept of time compared to ours. Before Greece and Rome the succession of years wasn't really enumered, the difference between past present and future wasn't so scanned, time was an eternal cycle, a seasonal circle, all years were the same. Lunar years were also common.
In ancient Greece years took the name of the annual eponymous archon, without a precise system of enumeration. In Rome the years were enumered from the foundation of the city (Ab Urbe Condita). But also in pagan Rome (like Greece, Egypt and so on) the concept of time was very different from ours, an Eternal return (or eternal recurrence); it's also a common concept in pagan philosophy. Dionysius exiguus then spread the custom to count the years Anno Domini (beginning from the birth of christ, which never happened). With the diffusion of Christianity this became rapidly the official method of measurement of time

Yes is a good reminder indeed but for me i think we should erase the maximum possible their memory from our lifes in the future like they did to us during inquision and the dark age, killing and corrupting and persecutions as u all know

If you forget the past, sometimes people do the same error again.
