Hello. I have a question regarding the name.
I am a girl. Minor. My name is Raphaella, the feminine version of the hebrew name Raphael. I know that the name itself is Italian, but it was given to me, as I remember from my mother’s stories, precisely as the female version of Raphael. And I don't really like this name. I associate it with reproaches and punishment. Can I at least be called for now (not according to documents) by some other name? (Alexandra, Alistrina? So far I’ve settled on “Raella”, but now I’m not sure about this name either, it’s the female version of the name Rael).

Welcome sister, so if you want to go by a shortened version of your name then that's totally fine.

There are millions of people who socially don't go by their legal or full name. As in when you speak to friends and family members, you don't greet them with a, "Hey! John Jackson the third, what's up!"

Ar the same time, don't let Christianity ruin all names for you. For example, Cecilia is a beautiful name, but just because some Christians decided to name a Saint after this, shouldn't mean every girl named Cecilia should feel bad or disgusted with it. In your case, at the end of the day just go by whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Anyways, your name doesn't have to do anything with you and your soul. You can go by any name you want, but stick to one.
