Hmm that's so weird that my IQ was already over 100 before coming into SS and since joining I've been meditating and studying. I stopped doing drugs and even stopped drinking and still enjoy some good edm songs along with MJ. By your logic, Stormblood, I shouldn't be able to enjoy Classical music then but it's so weird that I love hearing it too. Hmmm....

Over 100 doesn't mean shit. The average is 90. Only 10 points above isn't much more, not to mention IQ is dated and means little as intelligence is multi-dimensional. One can be incredibly talent at logical reasoning, and be shit when it comes to understand how to grow plants, to make a stupid example. Intelligence is just the ability to understand things, as Latin points out. "Intellego" = "to understand, to comprehend".

And I have never said that listening to one type of music is mutually exclusive with listening other types of music. The are people who listen to both cultivated and metal music, as much as the thought makes me cringe.

How does one person represents a whole genre? Electronic music represents the group of people who goes to loud clubs, to get their hearing ruined by loud music, do drugs and get drunk. That what's literally 99% of the fans of this genre do. Hence, why the statistics say it's linked to lower levels of intelligence. Alcohol and drugs lower intelligence, and produce mental and emotional instability by creating hormonal imbalances in the brain.

Music is also shown to influence your soul. Because music is sound. Sound is a form of akasha. You use sound when you vibrate mantras. Everything that has a vibration affects you, unless your aura is good enough to protect you. I don't know what the specific effects of every single genre of music could be because there's not enough research in this area, as far as I know. I can only discern that they depend on the frequency of vibration and that the lyrics act as programming, if there are any. Feel free to think about it however you want. I am not interesting in arguing about which music genre is better. There are studies backing up what I stated. The only way to debunk studies is to produce studies that do that, in significant enough of a number to debunk it or at least discredit it. Personal opinions cannot debunk studies. That being said, I wouldn't go as far as to call those studies definitive facts, as I doubt anyone cares to gather enough evidence to put forth anything more than a theory in these topics. Yes, I know enemy-controlled so-called science likes to waste time on things that do not matter, such as this correlating music genres to intelligence, but still I bet the depth of this research leaves much to be desired, no matter whether I agree with the conclusions or not.

What I can discuss is what music genres are related to, astrologically. For example, it's clear that metal may relate best to people with a dominant Pluto or Mars (same for hard rock and punk) because they draw on anger, especially deep-seated anger as well as anti-conformism and rebellious instincts (whether justified or not); EDM may relate best to people with a dominant Neptune because its function is to entrance people and facilitate the proliferation of addictions that act as a replacement for spirituality (recreational drugs including alcohol, tobacco, weed, class A and so on). I am not sure about cultivated music but it likely relates to a dominant Jupiter, Libra or Uranus. A case for Jupiter is that this genre stimulates the crown chakra the most. I wonder what jazz and some other genres are related to...

Upbringing and social circles, for example, or games you play. In other words, primary and secondary socialisation can affect this aspect of personality just like they affect many other aspects and lifestyle.

For example, most people only like alcohol because they are drilled since childhood that alcohol is normal, that everyone likes it and that's the 'adult/mature' thing to drink. Social circles in high school and university basically revolve on how cool it is to drink, how cool drinking games are, how alcohol is a social expectation and getting pissed/drunk, how alcohol solves all your problems and so on.

This is more true among guys than girls, as it's falsely considered a masculine habit. The more you drink, the more masculine you are. The faster you drink, the more of a champion you are. Drinking to celebrate, drinking as a forfeit/punishment, drinking after watching a good game, drinking after playing sports, drinking because it's weekend and you're relaxing with the lads.

Social media and all media (tv shows, films, and so on) condition people too by reasserting the same reality over and over, how a strong drink is needed when you're feeling down, etc. Repetition wears down the natural defences of the human mind and makes repeating things slip through. First they become normal and you tolerate them, then you open yourself up even more by trying them and, overtime, they become a habit for you as well. This is called conditioning in behavioural psychology. And the positive feedback from others is a typical form of positive reinforcement specific to operant conditioning. Well, it's positive reinforcement when you get positively acknowledged/praised for doing something. There is also negative reinforcement, which is when a behaviour is reinforced by removing something negative. To use the same analogy of alcohol, negative reinforcement may be when people stop calling you a 'pussy' or whatever other term they think is degrading to you, and they stop the negative name-calling because you comply to the behaviour requested of you.

This is applicable to everything in life. If you analyse your life, you'll find many behaviours, interests and so on (good, bad or neutral) are actually a result of this. A much more dramatic term that can be used is "brainwashing". Everything is brainwashing when it comes to taking a new seed and growing it into the bonsai you like, then giving the bonsai an ever more appealing shape and so on. One of the goals of the Magnum is to purify yourself of all the negative brainwashing to become true to yourself, leaving only yourself and any positive improvement you made.

Which leaves us with a question: are our likes and interests really our own or were we brainwashed into them? Finding this out is part of the process of self-discovery and growth we aim for, here in this community.

As for what genre is more of a threat to kikes, you cannot make blanket statements like that. During the Dark Ages, they even tried to replace all music completely with church music. Obviously, they failed. If some metal and rap may have things that directly praise the Gods, so do other styles of folk music such as Wardruna and other different genres. And cultivated music, among some very few other genres, uplift your frequency. Just like epic music does. An example of uplifting music is the soundtrack of Fairy Tail, which is the best soundtrack in the history of anime as far as I am concerned. Put that into any anime, and even utter thrash like Tokyo Ghoul praising the kikes or Danganronpa or Ousama the Game would seem epic. Want to tune into anger and hatred for spiritual warfare or black magick, most heavy metal/punk/hard rock will help you with that.

No, I don't want to hear 'real rap' the same way I don't want to read any poetry that is not "dolce stil novo" or similar. Keep listening to it, if you want to. In the same way, you cannot make everyone respect all genres as that's also down to personal opinion, not just what studies say. Respect is also earned, never enforced.

Someone has said at one time that "we don't come from monkeys, it's the other way around; we are turning into monkeys".
Comparing Beethoven, Bach, Mozart to what's being played on todays radio makes me think there is something to that quote.
Listening to well composed classical music can enhance the intelligence a bit I've heard. Perhaps the opposite is true for gangstarap. Here in Sweden they give out music awards to criminal thugs who rap about using guns, fucking "hoe's" etc.

It varies a lot what I listen to myself. There is a good radio station called "Groove Salad" on https://somafm.com/ which plays nice ambient groovy music. I've discovered a lot of good music there and I always listen to that station when going to work, cleaning etc.

As for my own music production; I can feel extremely good when I'm in the middle of producing something I think is going to be great, but getting to that place is the hard part. It IS a job indeed and nobody is going to do it for you.

This is a great thread! I personally favour black metal, death metal, industrial/EBM and some folk metal, psytrance, goth and darkwave music.
Basically anything that is sinister, morbid, obscure, mystical, adrenaline-inducing and weird. Personally I've always been compelled to the macabre in art and entertainment. I think it's my way of facing the extremes of this world (I've always been compelled to the unknown and extreme).

An interesting thing I found is that goths generally are very happy people. They don't so much celebrate death but rather embrace its beauty and mystique nature. Doing so, these people have a better acceptance of these unbearable truths of this world and thus can face such things without feeling overwhelmed. Such people make great paramedics, morticians, etc.

These are great, I really loved this Dissection band. The lyrics are really nice. They were very close to finding the truth about Satan, it's really sad that they got lost into the enemy influence that eventually resulted in the suicide of the creator of the band.

Black Funeral - Az-i-Dahak
Formally, the genre of this album is industrial black metal (artificial percussion, some noise instead of clean guitars...), but a more descriptive label could be trance metal. The most defining work of this style is Beherit's Drawing Down the Moon and Az-i-Dahak is fairly similar.

The characteristic of good trance music is that it can be repetitive without getting boring. Even if somewhat comical / goofy, this album conveys some intense ritualism to it. The template created by Beherit / VON has been filled with good content and decorated with some middle eastern instrumentation (the theme is of Persian mythos). The compositions are short and to-the-point.

This is the most intriguing black metal (that is still the parent genre) I've heard in a while. I know that the frontman of this band is a prominent "mainstream satanist", but here he demonstrates to be an above-average musician.
