That's my favorite Nargaroth song, the bit where it hear the sound of a Pan's flute is sublime.

Yes, I really like this part. There are a lot of more melancholic songs in Nargaroth, which is a feature of the newer albums, but "The Day Burzum Killed Mayhem" is also despairing, but I'm not rooting for Euronymous because I didn't like his guitar melodies and style at all. If it's Mayhem, then Hellhammer, Necro or the Dead are the ones that make me silence Mayhem, but not Euronymous by any means.

Dead was the one who carried the band with the drummer, for example I really like the drums on "Freezing Moon" and Dead's voice adds to that. Nargaroth has Burzum covers, for example "Black Spell Of Destruction" which is simply "Spell Of Destruction", the adjective "Black" was added by Euronymous, which I also disagree with.

Burzum (Varg) is a very talented man, as is Nargaroth. While Nargaroth for me is more of a melancholic, depressive band, Burzum is quite diverse, for example their very first album "Burzum 1992" or the EP "Aske", which are related to each other in sound and character, then the album "Filosofem" which took a big turn, then the tracks "Ambient", then later the album "Umskiptar" or "Fallen", finally the latest "Thulean" which is completely different.

But I digressed, I went back to Nargaroth, for example "Herbst", which for me is a song of huge importance in the whole history of Black Metal, or even "Spectral Vision", which is also more depressive in tone.

This sounds good, what you think?

A little dramatic for my tastes. But I tend to listen to modern music (broadly speaking) and I think I'm in the minority here.

Am I the only one here who listens to DnB, Dubstep, Garage, House, Techno, Synthpop or Post-punk at all?

No, but the vast majority does not post in this topic.

Black Magic SS, such a perfect name that is just being wasted. Some clown using hallucinationic drugs and playing with a keyboard.

Try listening to band Minenwerfer, the cd Alpenpasse.

I've been meaning to reply to you about this Black Magick SS band, you probably didn't listen to the whole album that was posted, it is actually pretty good, according to me, of course.

It is really psychedelic rock (even goes into metal a little bit) with good lyrics that really reflect the occult reality of SS.

Now the point I wanted to get across is that many people automatically associate the music of genre with the context, i. e. if I make or listen to psychedelic rock then I must be on acid or other hallucinogenic drugs, or perhaps something I saw someone post here that they dislike EDM because they associate it with nightclubs and therefore again with non-Satanic attitudes and behaviors such as drinking, doing coke and living promiscuous and decadent lifestyle.

But I think people should try to judge in a vacuum, even if it is hard with all the learned associations, for example, I dislike hip-hop and rap music, because I also have some bad associations. But when I listen to multiple artists or even different albums from the same artist, I can get a feel for it and compare what is better and what is worse.

And in the end, people are different and like different things, therefore I do not put down my friends who listen to rap or hip-hop, yes I sometimes make a joke or two, but you cannot force someone to like something you do.

Look, even recently HPHC said that he likes some of Kayne's music and I think many people here really don't go into that pop sphere, but we just respect that he likes it and do not try to "show" him how bad it is, according to us, or something. It's a matter of taste. Peace to you, brother.

I've completely forgotten about this and was curious to see what you think.
