Memes deleted

I've noticed that all memes in "Meme warfare" thread past Mar 31 are gone.

Any explanation of why?

Not only my memes but others too are gone; some of which received many likes.

I also wonder about another similar incident recently, where a whole thread was deleted after just one single last post in it, somehow disliked by moderator

Why not deleted the post instead of entire threads? Same with the memes. I find it quite disturbing.

the thread wasn't deleted intentionally, and as far as I know I didn't accidentally delete it either. I'll make sure it gets reinstated.

I know that mistakes occur here but why take a persecution stance? Why would any mod dislike you and memes you've made? We don't beat around the bush here and if there are problems we directly contact you, not play passive aggressive and just delete random threads for our own pleasure.

When the forum data was transferred over, some sort of translation glitch occurred and resulted in seemingly random deletions that are somewhat associated with justly removed content. If this is found, it can simply be restored as needed. Providing a link of this would be very helpful.

Regarding deletion of threads, based on the new software, if the first post in a thread is deleted, then the entire thread gets deleted. Perhaps that explains what you witnessed. As an alternative to this, the first post can be edited to remove any negative content.

Otherwise, a thread can be deleted if it has an overall harmful impact on the forums, and sometimes this is not seen until after it has developed.

That is problematic. Especially if nobody is informed about this when threads disappeares suddenly. Thanks for informing me now though.

Yes, although it is not done without consideration that the whole thread will be gone.

For the record, some of my own posts were deleted when the forums changed over, along with some very important ones by a knowledgeable female SS member about women's health. I discovered they were gone when I was trying to find them to read them again. I had to reinstate them all individually. It was just a glitch.

Mods don't delete threads based on our personal dislike. Any thread that was purposefully deleted was debated among at least 3+ of us including HP Hooded Cobra.

This is strange, but I can see that none were deleted by any mod past that date. We'll look into it.

Posting it here instead of in Meme warfare, as something is off with that thread at the moment.

Yes I will keep this in mind.
However; since I think more people than me was wondering about this, I made a thread here in order to clearify the situation for everyone who's memes got lost.

I apologize for sounding hostile at first, but I seriously thought this was something deliberately done, as I've posted many memes there lately.
Some of which perhaps already had been posted there or something and I saw how whole pages of memes got deleted.

I hope you will look into this. That thread is acting weird now.
