I am not sure if this is the correct or best place to be posting this, however, I would like to address the broken mp3 links in Satan's Library.

I was going through the mp3 files yesterday, wanting to progressively work through to listen to them all and noticed that a good many of the links are broken.

I understand that this was probably damage done when the JoS sites were attacked last year. I did notice this before but I thought someone was either addressing it, or it was on someone's to do list.

I went searching via archive.org's Wayback Machine prior to April 2023 and was able to find quite a few of them.

So what I am planning to do is systematically go through each one in the library, and download each missing mp3 file I find on the Wayback Machine. I'll also document it in a spreadsheet. Then I will archive them and upload them somewhere convenient for the site developers.

Can one of the site developers please let me know, if I am okay to proceed with this initiative. I don't want to unnecessarily waste my time if someone is already doing this. Thanks.

Confusion may have been that both of them have the same job as Sukkal or Messenger. Lord Focalor works for Satan, and Lord Thoth works for Baal Enlil.

I am writing this because the JoS needs to be edited. I think the best way to do this [the volume is simply insane] is for us to go and find the link with a mistake, and then post it here, and then we'll get in and fix what needs to be fixed.

To note, this is not to fix things that need updating, but solely editorial. Grammar mistakes, syntax mistakes, the list goes.

Anyone who finds a mistake, broken link, or anything of the sort, please post below. This way we will be able to fix things in due time. The JoS main has to be immaculate and without any said errors.

I was using JoS-astro today creating a natal chart and noticed the following:

The presentation of latitude is incorrect shown on the Web page. Regardless, of whether the location is chosen from the list or manually entered, the results are as follows:

A negative latitude is currently showing as West instead of South (which is correct). In addition to this, longitude is showing as North for positive values whereas it should be East for positive values and West for negative values.

However, when you print to pdf, latitude is copied exactly as show from the webpage, and longitude is shown correctly in this instance.

I trialled this using the same coordinates but changing the sign. A positive latitude is incorrectly showing as East and positive longitude shows incorrectly as North. As before when printing the chart to pdf, the latitude is copied and the display of the longitude coordinate is correctly displayed.
