After a few years hiatus, I am again doing digital art. I've been thinking about a series based on the mythology of Heracles on His hero quest to the underworld. As you can probably tell, I like dark, somber scenes with lots of mood. If you guys like this I might be motivated to do a series, depicting the Lionskin Wearer on his Hero's Journey.

Thank you!

I really like the atmosphere your art creates.

To some it might seem like it's obscuring the view or something, but to me and maybe many others, it seems like it holds power. So cool!

I want to thank everyone for showing some appreciation for my art. I am meeting some really great people on this forum!

I know what you ladies are saying: "But Rodulf, ya'll just showing us Hercules big ole muscular self on His journey! What about the rest of humanity, the female half? Don't women journey to the otherworld, too?" And the answer is ...Hel yes! There are stories of women heroines making the dangerous journey to the Archetypal Realms to find their souls and gain wisdom. I was not forgetting you! As you can see, I am refining my 3D skillset. It's been a while. I went with the same somber, moodiness of the previous Hercules pieces, in keeping with the theme of penetration into the deep realms of unconscious powers.
