Creating My Own Mythology

In order to help me better understand the God's thought process when creating mythology and decode it more efficiently, I have decided to create my own mythology using symbolic representation.

It's fun and trains the creative faculties of the mind.

I haven't gotten a proper story together yet, so as of now it's still just random unconnected events/sequences boiling in my mind.

If possible, I'd like to be given editing privileges on this specific thread since I'd prefer not having to update in between posts.

1.
- Bold female adventurer/sailor who drags her meek and timid husband to sea (#-> symbolising those with lopsided development, empowering the upper chakras but neglecting the lower, leading to imbalance and a lack of groundedness).

2.
- An ocean deity kills the couple because they entered his territory without the necessary prerequisities (#-> symbolising those who try to advance and stimulate the chakras too hastily, earning them his wrath).

3.
- However, upon inspection he is regretful and actually begins to admire the tragic beauty of their now empty bodies, particularly his respect and admiration towards the female sailor for her bold and adventursome spirit.
- Specifically, he was endeared by the contradiction of her image: a pretty, dark-haired, and petite build in stark contrast against her prior displays of aggression and risk-taking (#-> again, symbolising imbalance, but this time of an egoic nature).
- The male, on the other hand, with his rigid, powerful body contrasted by the light beauty of his flowing blonde hair and slender jaw, along with thick, cow-like eyelashes and cherry-red lips; there was a vague "seductive shyness" which emanated from his physiognomy. Clear, beautiful skin, as if untouched by the world.
- (#-> altogether symbolising an improper expression of the base chakra, where one is not yet battle-tested by life; inexperienced and lacking the necessary "scars" so to speak).

4.
- He reincarnates the female sailor but leaves the male to drift afloat, forever enclosed behind a glass cabinet preserving his image as a trophy of dormant potential (#-symbolising the immense power waiting to be found within the proper utilisation of the lower chakras themselves)
- (#-> also of note is the connection between water/ocean and cleansing energy, as well as the Universe, Akasha, and 'soul physics' in general).

He chooses not to erase her memory, but instead she is given two options:

A.) Search for and reunite with her lost lover, with their bond of love (#-> symbolising harmony between upper and lower chakras) being multiplied one hundred. However, the path is slow and laborious, with the journey lasting 33 years from the day of her 18th birthday, whereby she will embark on the journey.

B.) An immortal, endless life of pleasure, luxury and adventure, but she is denied the ability to recollect these experiences and memories of people whom she has encontered, of which these memories are erased every 28 years.
- (#-> symbolising the Saturn return, and the need to constantly reincarnate because one does not learn from their mistakes but instead indulges in a life of perpetual illusion and frivolousness).

.
.
.

That's about where I'm at rn, but here's some additional notes:

#The boat itself represents the soul's dross, which has imprisoned the male (base chakra) as it floats aimlessly within the confines of the ocean. However, it also symbolises the "potential to steer one's course" back towards the mainlands (aka reality, the real world, SATYA).
#This symbolises the immense potential which lies dormant within the base chakra itself when properly sublimated, and is necessitated by material effort (traversing the stormy seas).
#Although, the boat = dross symbolism seems a little incongruent to me, since boats typically symbolise movement and expansion or growth... maybe I should say a rotting boat, or some type of boat which is totally inappropriate for sailing.

#I'm not sure what to name it, since I haven't decided on the characteristics of these difficulties within the ocean yet nor do I have the appropriate linguistic background, but for now i'm going with "Lerodin" (Lair of Odin/Odin's Lair) because it sound's cool lmao, albeit the deity itself will probably relate more so to the themes of Poseidon/Neptune.

#There are still a lot of double and triple meanings behind the symbolism which I haven't properly fleshed out yet.

#The Mythos of Bodsinae (rearrangement of "sinbad" - totally random name, probably will change it but I'm just fucking around with cool sounding phonetics until I have a better grasp of Sanskrit and Ancient Greek... maybe I should look into the Arabian or Mesopotamian languages and mix them together to create my own, but that's long asfk rn.

This is more of random stories that you wrote, not actual mithologies or to be seen as worth as actual mithology.

Just to remind to not engage in delusions.

Writing is a good time, I have done it multiple times.
