You'll need a yoga block.
Elevated seiza https://ibb.co/jfXBe5 :
You sit on the block with your foot knuckles at the limit of the block and you hold for 120 seconds.

curled seiza https://ibb.co/hkZ2mk :
You basically sit on the front palm part of your feet. 120s

squatted seiza https://ibb.co/m9g4z5 :
you sit on the frontal part of your foot. 120s

It's not that difficult but it's intense, make sure you don't feel pain doing it but rather unconfortable. If you feel pain don't do it. my explenation is very poor so you'll have to imitate the images lol.

This releases the hamstrings too and one can feel more flexible hamstrings after doing this as they are connected to the feet.

I used to be a personal trainer. These don't really help with hamstrings, perhaps you are thinking of a different muscle?

For tight hamstrings, sit on one foot with the other extended in front of you, and lean forward (note: don't lean down as this will place you in a crunched position; lean forward as much as you can towards the wall in front of you, which will by default bend you down but with a straight posture). Do this for as long as you can, switch legs, and you can do multiples daily. You can follow up with sitting with both legs extended in front of you and elan forward touching your toes.

Breath of fire or long deep breathing, or alternating between these.

Hey Lydia, people tend to be less tight in the hamstrings when doing this, placebo effect probabily? :p
