Ive had inappropriate sinus tachycardia for awhile. Im curioups as to whether it is related to a pattern of blood and yin deficiency ive had from insomnia related issues.

Im currently taking a blood tonic, and might try taking a yin replenishmpent tonic with herbs for yin, i understand it may take some serious time to recover from pa chronic health pattern like this.

Yeah, it can relate to disturbed shen, as well as under-nourishment of the heart due to yin deficiency of the kidney. Poor quality blood also would under-nourish the heart. Yin-deficiency can also cause insomnia, so it is sort of a vicious cycle, because sleep is one of the best ways to recharge the yin energy. Read more here.

I think those items you were prescribed also cover yin replenishment. It wouldn't hurt to do more, just do your research on the formulas and what not. Additionally, hatha yoga is a yin-type activity and greatly benefits the essence of the body. The stretching improves the micro-circulation, allowing each cell to be properly nourished with water and energy.

You can also get an acupressure device. I have one that also uses an electric current, but it is kind of shitty and you can feel it in your hand as well. Anyway, you can get some sort of acupressure stick, or use your hand, if you want, and stimulate the various points on the body that would help your condition. There are a few good points that tackle a bunch of issues at once, so it would only be like a 5 or 10 minute thing, not like a 30 minute exercise. Usually I feel relief in the minutes after.

I got you confused with someone else, but the advice should still hold. SaTaNaMa, hatha yoga, alternating nose pranayama...all of these should work to balance the body and aid that condition. Keep up with the tonics and this will provide the yin structure to stabilize the heart and other affected areas of the body.

What is your current status?

This can also occur due to heart fire, which is an excess condition.

Blood tonics may increase the fire.

What are your symptoms?

Inappropriate sinus tachycardia, that is constant and doesnt go away, fatigue, ocassional chest pain, and sometimes insomnia.

Very active, almost like my body cannot relax, body aches, excessive hunger, excessive urination, that wakes me up from a deep sleep.

Chronic pain, pain that is just all over, like a dull constant aching, in my muscles.

Kundalini stimulation has made me feel much better lately, i still have all of the symptoms listed, but its less of an issue.

The fatigue and tiredness is in conjunction with an urge for excessive exercise, activity, and like i mentioned, tachycardia, a hard pounding pulse.

Read about the heart conditions here. It seems like heart fire blazing, mixed with like a yin deficiency. Note the symptoms and their causes.

Look at the acupressure points, because I would attempt to hit some of them for immediate relief. Also note the ones that hit some of the organs that relate to the support structure of heart yin, such as Spleen 6, Kidney 6, perhaps Kidney 3.

You'll want to look into factors that could've imbalanced your heart to begin with and ensure they are fixed themselves. This article is a decent place to start for that. For example, the fire element in the body is supported by the wood (Liver/Gallbladder), and the fire element itself supports the earth element (Spleen/Stomach), therefore make sure your wood is not already deficient, and ensure your earth does not become deficient.

Notable acupoints:
HT-8/9: "Clears heart Fire" (Very Easy to find on body)
HT-7: "Tonifies Heart Blood and Heart Yin and calms the Shen" (Very Easy to find)
Ren 14/15: "Calms the Shen, especially where there is anxiety" (Aka Conception Vessel ((CV-14/15)) Moderately Easy to find)
Spleen 6: Giant list of effects, including insomnia. (Generally Easy to find)
Kidney 3: Awesome point for Kidneys (Very Easy to find)

Please google these points and view the images to see where they are located. Read this article for some good tips on applying acupressure.

Good point! I need to sit down and memorize more of these symptoms and their associated causes. If you couldn't tell, I know some of TCM decently well, but others parts not so much. Always feel free to correct me if I make a mistake in helping someone, I won't get mad or anything. Also, I don't know if I did this yet or not, but I wanted to thank you for your help in diagnosing my condition of liver wind. It proved correct, and I was successfully treated! You did a good service to me!

I tend to agree, you do seem to have your head around it quite well.

Heart fire blazing was my first impression of Serpemtwalker666' s issue, and all fire syndromes will have concurrent yin Deficiency either starting or in the very near future. Full fire rarely lasts more than a few weeks due to its tendency to burn yin away. It is still important to distinguish however as a tonic given during a period of fire will increase the fire.. Cold clearing herbs are required with thought to the degree of yin Deficiency as cold bitter herbs also damage yin...

And no problem with respect to your initial diagnosis, I'm here to help.

Hi Centralforce666, I have had these heat symptoms with heat rushes for some time. I'm still having these now. I don't know the specific cause, although I know where it started. Could I mail you about these symptoms, in private? Since the problem is intricate and private. The thing is I think the problem got a life of its own and thus I wanted to talk with a specialist to stop it.
