So, I saw a comment from @HPS Lydia yesterday that reminded me of something I wanted to share with the ladies of JOS:
Recently, I was studying into ancient fashion, specifically the sundresses and such that the women from ancient Greece and Egypt used to wear. The thought came to me as I was playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and I noticed how pretty all the dress styles were that the women were wearing in the game, so I went online that day and started looking into the names of the styles of dresses. After a while, I went to Etsy and started looking for modern versions of these dresses. And let me tell you... these dresses are literally some of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen in my entire life. I fell in love instantly and started to think to myself, "Why did this kind of fashion ever go out of style?!" So, I'm officially starting a petition for the ladies of JOS to embrace ancient fashion again! Take a look at some of the dresses I've found thus far in my search for ancient style clothing:
(By the way, all the shops I'm going to link, they have many styles of dresses, and the ones I'm going to link are just my personal favorites; feel free to go browse their shops for other styles if these don't suit your personal tastes, ladies) 💛 🤗

Dress 1; A dress inspired by Isis that comes in Barbados cherry, white, beige or black:

Dress 2; This one is a set of a bandeau top with a high slit skirt that comes in dried rose or white:

Dress 3; A gorgeous goddess dress that comes in stone, dried rose, beige, black or white:

Dress 4; Another goddess dress with trailing drapes off the shoulders that comes in dark forest green, sage green, brown, off-white and maroon:

Dress 5; A full length maxi dress that comes in black (but she has other listings for this dress in other colors on her shop):

Dress 6; A gorgeous dress inspired by the Nymphs that comes in a multitude of colors:

Dress 7; A black dress inspired by Fairies:

Dress 8; A breathtaking red dress with draping sleeves and with a copper ring accent on the front: (my absolute favorite!)
*(Same dress in white)*

Dress 9; A dress inspired by Helen of Troy that comes in plum or black:

Dress 10; A beautiful goddess inspired dress with strappy accents and cutouts:

Also, while researching ancient fashion, I looked into ancient hairstyles as well. I found a couple different youtube channels that do tutorials for ancient hairstyles, but this one is my personal favorite:

Let me know what you ladies think! I personally am going to buy some of these dresses and start wearing them. I think these styles are absolutely breathtaking and I think women would look so beautiful in these, especially nowadays. I hate how the fashion industry is nowadays, and I literally just seen the other day that Dolce and Gabbana did an ancient Greek inspired line, but of course, D&G is high fashion, which means it's low quality, for high ass prices. Every shop I listed dresses from in this post, I picked from small businesses, because I believe people who go after their dreams and open up a business to sell what inspires them and makes them happy, deserve our money way more than the high fashion industry.
Much love and blessed be, I hope you ladies enjoy 💛🤗

we should have good "influencers" nowadays...not this clean girl and minimalism business where it takes away all the essence and beauty, not to mention the "beige" fashion that I find horrible, the human being needs color and beauty...particularly I love 80's fashion even though, I consume more gothic fashion which I find fascinating.
I'm passionate about old clothes (Victorian fashion and others) hair...I really support bringing back this fashion from our ancestors where it shows a very rich culture, full of history...modernity in a way takes away a lot of good things.

I don't understand why we can't go out dressed like this everyday?! 😂 this style is so feminine and elegant. Imagine these dresses with some beautiful gladiator sandals.

My favorite is the 9th. That color is stunning.

Royal Blue has always been my favorite color though. A dress like this in Royal Blue would be the ultimate.

I have a few dresses like these. One like the first one but without the waist detail, and one like 9 but not as low cut at the front.

Don't tempt me LMFAO, I'll start a page on X right motherfucking NEOW and start modeling these dresses and romanticizing living life as the ancients did! I bet we could make this catch on, and I'm being so serious right now. As Aurora_Sol said in her comment, I don't understand why we can't dress like this every single day and make it an absolute statement. I totally agree with what you said about modern "fashion and beauty" being nothing even close to the true essence of beauty, such as our beloved Astarte 💛

OOOOO I bet those look amazing! You should treat yourself to some more and just add pieces to your collection over time, you know? I totally think we as women should embody our Goddesses, as they are the very essence of beauty, and these dresses just exude Goddess energy to me! I think it would be cool to learn to make dresses like these, as our ancestors did!

As I looked through all these dresses, that's exactly what I thought to myself! "These would look stunning with some strappy sandals that criss-cross up the calves, or some gladiator style sandals!" Those types of shoes definitely would pull the outfit together, and really start to exude that ancient fashion style  #9 is suuuper pretty, definitely one that caught my attention as I picked all these out to show you all. I agree with you about Royal blue, it really embodies power and strength, along with deep purples! UGH so good!

Exactly! I can already see the future where we will bring back the old fashion and its beauty..I wish you all the success on your X page, may the gods bless you!

And with Lapis Lazuli earrings, necklace or bracelets. Divine! I am sure that love of fashion like this comes from previous lifetimes.

I agree! I was looking into ancient jewelry as well, when I was researching ancient fashion, and I cannot tell you the amount of BEAUTY in the jewelry pieces from that era. There are signet rings they've found from ancient times, and they are exquisite! All their jewelry pieces had crystals inlaid into the metals, and the crystals were carved with all kinds of imagery. Most of them were devotional pieces in honor of the Gods and I LOVE that; I feel like we've been robbed of so many beautiful things in life, due to the enemy.

These are indeed beautiful examples. My favourites one are probably dress number two - although I would prefer black, dark red, or navy blue colour. The third dress, but in black version and the fourth one is wonderful too. Additionally, I would add some jewellery to this and voilà! I have to agree with the opinions of other sisters here about the return to fashion from the times of our ancestors. I believe that many women would find those enjoyable and pleasant to wear, as this style radiates and embody with femininity.

Referring to the topic of women's clothes, lately I have been wearing a lot of dresses and skirts, despite dressing up more “tomboyish” for most of my life. I even used to take clothes from my father or my ex-boyfriend to wear, and a dress was the last thing I would put on back then. Currently, my wardrobe has changed and is filled with elegant clothes, dresses and skirts. I love putting them on and choosing nice accessories like earrings and necklaces.

YESSS! I agree with your choices of the ones you like, those are so gorgeous!
Speaking of jewelry, I've been looking lately, like on Etsy and other small business platforms, for jewelry that evokes the ancient style. I have found some really good sellers, I'll post some of them in this thread so you ladies can take a look at them as well. It's hard to come by jewelry makers who prefer the ancient style, but there are some out there! There's one shop in particular that sells Greek and Egyptian themed jewelry and it's sooooo pretty! I'll post a comment under this one with the links to some of the shops I've found. 💛
And I know what you mean about changing up your style. I've been doing the same; out with the old, in with the new. I'm also trying to exude femininity more. I've really been liking maxi dresses and long flowy skirts with a slit in the side, they make me feel so good about myself when I wear them. 🤗

Jewelry I've found that gives me ancient vibes:

https://www.alkemiejewelry.com/ (I ended up coming across this business yesterday after talking with Scorpio about jewelry! They have one hebrew listing, but everything else is gorgeous in my opinion. They have gold patina jewelry that definitely fits the vibes I'm looking for!)
https://www.etsy.com/shop/FleshAndSoul?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1090144028 (This one has a lot of goddess/occult themed jewelry!)
https://www.etsy.com/shop/SemaiJewels?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1234953125 (Another option for devotional/goddess themed jewelry! I personally love the coin shaped pendants they have!)
https://www.etsy.com/shop/OceansilverArt?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=1242305911 (My personal favorite, as this shops realllly brings ancient vibes! PLUS they use sea glass for most of their pieces!)
https://www.etsy.com/shop/KallisteNYC?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=895524238&from_page=listing (Love this shop too!)
https://www.etsy.com/shop/Trickster...-name&listing_id=1616737085&from_page=listing (This shop makes devotional rosaries! They have other things other than jewelry, but I thought you ladies would appreciate these beautiful rosaries!)

I feel like I have found more than what I put the links to here, so if I find more in my bookmarks, I'll add them to this thread.
Hope you ladies enjoy these 💛 🤗

That elephant-tooth pendant is ❤️. I love Elephants, they are incredible animals. And the Zodiac one is awesome too. Very ancient-vibes.
