hello everyone and especially the women of JoS, because I need their help the most.
A few days ago I was diagnosed with micropolicystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). From the ultrasound, my ovaries look healthy and the cysts are so small they're not even visible. Based on that ultrasound only, I would even think that they made a mistake, which could be possible in this healthcare system. I'm not overweight either, I'm actually thin. However, my ovulation is very painful and I have the classic problems of PCOS such as facial hair, fatigue, sleep issues, brain fog, etc. I also have no breasts and a very undeveloped body.
I have been recommended progesterone. And birth control pill or hormone therapy. The problem is that I don't want either, the ovary is a downstream thing of the problem and not the cause, both the ovary and ovulation are blocked and with the pill you block it even more, the pill just temporary masks the symptoms. Why do (((doctors))) recommend the pill to women who have this syndrome, which goes to attack FERTILITY, the biggest problem of the syndrome? It makes no sense!!! I don't want to. I also don't want to do the same hormone therapy that a tranny would do.
I was thinking about adjusting my diet and start taking vitamins, but I don't know how to start or what to do.
I just want to be fertile, I don't plan to become a mother now, but my biggest fear is to remain infertile and no man will be interested in me. Having had this diagnosis makes me feel like half a woman and I really need your help because it causes me a lot of pain psychologically.
