Those who support any of the Abrahamic religions, including Catholicism, Judaism, Christianity, Mormonism, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Baptist, Methodist, Orthodox, etc, they are all willingly/inadvertently supporting evil.

Those who supported the actions of Charles Manson are deemed evil in modern times. No amount of religious pseudo-intellectualism could support the actions of Charles Manson, who is responsible for far less death and suffering than the Abrahamic religions.

If Yahweh was a person, he would have been sentenced to death or at least a thousand death sentences in our courts.

Despite the clear absurdities and evil associated with Abrahamic religions, they have survived the age of enlightenment, industrialization and modernization due to the fact that newer generations get brainwashed with these vile religions.

The mass exodus from religion in today's time could easily be attributed to the internet, where information on these evils can be widely disseminated, whereas before we had to rely solely on books, the church and school's to educate us. As the control over information has been lost, we as individuals have gained the freedom to educate ourselves.

However, we can still insulate ourselves from truth by listening to echo chambers, there are enough websites, tv channels, and separation of church and state to keep people ignorant of the truth. We see many people remaining faithful to religions because they are fed revisionist history from echo chambers willing to omit the truth and also because hardly anyone actually reads the Old Testament.
