When do I know between letting the magic work and taking action?

Hello, brothers!

Lately I have been studying a lot about magic and spells and applying the knowledge to make them more and more effective and correcting my mistakes.

Reading articles and other texts about magic, I know that energy will follow the path of shortest distance and that the ideal is to let it follow its course, not to interfere, because it knows what is best (after all, if we knew, we wouldn't need magic, we would just do it).

But my question is, to what extent should we let it follow its course and to what extent should we act? I will use some examples, because I think the question is a little confusing.

Since I am new, it is still confusing to me, so for those who have already managed to manifest things through magic and spells or understand more about the subject, I would greatly appreciate it if you could understand how magic/spells work and how it manifested itself.

For example, I do a spell to attract money, let's suppose that in an "easy and positive" way the energy sees that the best path is for me to set up my own business. That's where the doubt comes in. I know that the energy is working, but I don't know, initially, how it will manifest itself and how it will be in an "easy and positive" way. Not knowing this, I work hard at work and I want to get a raise... indirectly I'm going against the energy... but at the same time, if I don't do anything, thinking "I'll let the energy act", I would probably never take the step of starting my business...

Another example: I do a love spell for a specific person. When do I know that I should take action with this person? For example, if it's too early and they reject me, I think I'd be putting up more barriers for the spell to work, but if I don't take action, I think it wouldn't work either, because they would never notice me or anything like that...

In these two examples, I don't know how the spell will act, what it will do, how it will do it... What is really ideal when doing magic? Is it really not doing anything, that is, waiting for the first sign to come from it? For example, in the case of money, should I wait for some very obvious sign that I should open a business? In the case of love magic, should I wait for the target person to take the first action?
But if I must do something, what should I do? How do I know what to do and not indirectly act against the magic?

I think this is a matter of perception, plus how you program the energy and view its mechanics in the world. Using your example of working hard, why exactly would this "go against the energy?" I understand you programmed the energy for ease, then you did something that is not easy, but I don't think is necessarily a conflict. I think you are limiting the manifestation of the energy by conflating the term "ease" to mean that the spell's result can only come as a result of something other than hard work.

While I think this is a good affirmation overall, because we want to actually advance and not enslave ourselves to meaningless work, the belief that hard work counters this is like a self-imposed limit that your hard work won't pay off. Instead, you should think that because you put in extra effort at work, the potential outcome of the working has been heightened. Your physical actions created a better "opportunity" or platform for the energy to act upon. Maybe this leads to a higher cash payout, or maybe it leads to mental realizations about the processes of your work that could be changed to facilitate higher productivity, and so on.

The easiness in this case reflects the final outcome and means the reward is much greater than the input of work. You are also right to assume that the energy can very likely drive you to take certain actions which are work-related, especially if fire-like runes of Fehu or Sowilo are used. Maybe it can lead to some initial discomfort, but that does not mean the spell is not working necessarily.

Similarly, in your second example, you should be aware that your soul gains experience from failure. If you programmed the energy to give you a partner in a general sense, then this rejection could lead you to understand what went wrong and how to fix it, plus how to recover from losses. If you programmed it for a specific person, then the energy will keep working on them after this event. As long as the rejection wasn't horrific, and if the person was already a good choice for you, then the energy could lead them to reconsider you in the future, again viewing the rejection as a problem that can be resolved, leading to higher relationship success, not less.

Overall, yes it is possible for your actions to mess things up, but at the same time, these elements of your judgement that you are applying in a given situation (romance, business, anything) are also likely to be involved in the spell. If you do something retarded either by acting too much or too little, since it was still relevant to the goal of the working, it would lead to insight and growth that further pulls you closer to the final manifestation of the working. You now know what not to do in order to better make money or get the girl.

In other words, due to your programming here, the energy acts "over top" yourself and your own actions. In the case of the love working, the energy may be directed at the girl, but it still involves you, and therefore the energy will work upon you too, as this is required for the manifestation.

Ultimately then, you should simply try your best and give your best effort in these cases. Although you should be aware of your actions and their consequences, don't worry too much that you are breaking the working or anything like that. While your workings may feel like they are external goals, your actions are also a part of achieving those goals, therefore they are a part of the working and open to their own development, which occurs through experience and realizations.
