What is the weird poking thing chinese people do what WHY is it being promoted in the west nowadays?

First off....i never liked foreign lifestlye or when foreiginers instroduced whatever 3rd world garbage they practice and i feel that this is part of the multicultural agenda. My extended famz keep babbling about this thing that chinese people do....poking random parts in your body as if they'll fix anything!?

Am I REALLY supposed to believe in such psuedoscience? what happened to appreaciating White technological ways and the greatness of Western medicine such as pills?

look...if i have a headache TYLENOL or GREAT VALUE is the WAY TO GO....not causing MORE pain by poking myself or having some dude poke me!

Just in case you're not a troll ... a short history: white people largely lost spiritual knowledge (most knowledge actually) in the dark ages when christianity took over. Everyone with knowledge was a threat and killed. (We did bring knowledge back, slowly, in the form of science, with much opposition from the church.)
In other parts of the world, this knowledge survived. The Chinese were able to keep a system of medicine based in the understanding of the spiritual anatomy, along with much other spiritual knowledge.
