Uncertainty with signs...

This might come across as a stupid question, and I apologize beforehand, but, I am very drawn to Lord Anubis and I prayed to him, to ask if he is my guardian. I had a that same night, I entered this dimly lit place and there was a tall figure walking towards me, and he gave me a Jackle head necklace, and said "Your Guardian". I couldn't see the figures face. I woke up the next morning, uncertain whether it was a sign, or just my subconscious. I am not fully spiritually open so I am uncertain of the signs I get in regards to this. I would like some help to interpret what that dream actually meant. Thank-you for the help in regards to perhaps helping me to understand.

Even if you're not spiritually aware, Demons will show you signs that you'll be able to understand in your current level of advancement.

Continue to open the chakras!

I recommend that you focus on the sixth chakra, the third eye (which is a continuation of the sixth chakra), and work on opening astral vision and astral hearing.
If, as a beginner, it is difficult for you to do all of the above at the same time, then I recommend that you work on opening your astral hearing, so you can communicate with your Guardian Demon.
