The Unknown Known Again. The theory of nine-year cycles in the analysis of historical events and the use of such cycles for the working of one’s will in the world was popularized by Anton LaVey in his book THE SATANIC RITUALS. A skeptic might object that the whole computation of these years is based on a CHRISTIAN structure, since the “Scythian” monk Dionysius Exiguus is known to have devised the system of annual computations based on the idea that the “year one” is when Jesus was born. This system was introduced around the year 500 of the Common Era (CE). The system may have had a Christian origin but it was secularized and made a conventional tool for referring to historical time as early as around 1600 when it was introduced by the German scientist Johannes Kepler. What we are dealing with here is a sort of computational egregore. Egregores are structures which may begin as conventional (i.e. commonly or collectively agreed upon things) but after years of common use take on a life of their own as become objectively real structures.
Every nine years we have what LaVey referred to as a Working Year. In these years magicians can lay the foundations for developments to unfold taking advantage of the winds of change that the Working Year signals. Things that happen in these apertures of time have special power and effect on the subsequent days, months and years. The number nine is a major key in the whole system. 2011 was one of these years. The next one was 2020! Woe betide us! Development was subjected to catastrophic influences. The Working Year and the damage done to it requires special actions to correct the course of development. But arbitrary efforts may not be ideal. The key of the Nine must be brought to bear for the most effective kind of correction to take place. Fortunately, the upcoming year, which will begin in just a few hours, offers just such an opportunity. 2025 = 2+0+2+5 = NINE. This year offers the possibility of major course-correction to take place. I urge Workers of good Will to apply this Knowledge to reverse or alter the flow of events. Use your Time well. As a parting note: I posted a new Substack piece about the word “nosferatu.” Given the new film release, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at this mysterious word and its history.
