the book of runes

Ok my aunt just got me this book for like divination with runes..its called "25th anniversary Edition The Book of Runes" commentary by Palphh. Blum and its publisher is "st.martins press" so can anyone tell me if it has divination proposes and if i could maybe change it to be right if it isnt?

runic is more than just divination it can be used as a writin text or
for spells, talismans, seals, realy alot of things. if you what to see
the real true runic symbols look up futhark runic. it is the real 18
symbols and depending on the site you find you can learn a lot about it
not just about the divanation side.
