In the Old Testament there is some talk about angels but none about demons. Why is this?

Read here:
We should stop treating Jews as if they originated somewhere in the world. Jews do not belong to this world, and this is as true as it is true that this world has no place of origin that is theirs. It is evident: can you tell me what the Jews' piece of Land is called? The Egyptians in Egypt. The Greeks in Greece, and so on. The Jews what land do they own? The Jews today are in Israel, which is basically Palestine that a Jew changed the name to so that it was more "Jewish friendly," kind of like when he saw a statue of Zeus, but the word Zeus was clearly anti-Semitic, so it was better to call it "antichrist."

What do Jews have about them here on this earth? Not even the world's religions are right for them. Read the Bible. If you go to any serious bibliolist (not a theologian then) he will tell you that Satan does not exist in the Bible (referring to the Torah of course). And he will tell you this because "Satan" performs an accusing function in the Bible. Satan means Eternal Truth in Sanskrit, in antithesis to the Jews, and is a concept (Satya) as well as being a true God, so if a Jew lies, and Satan accuses him, Satan is an accuser because he brings truth. The Torah does not speak of Satan and Demons because Jews do not care about that since they could never become Zevists.

The first appearance of Satan and Demons as characters we have in the Gospels where Satan is a guy, Demons are spirits that haunt people, and other Jewish mental disorder lies. That's because Christianity was not made for Jews, but for Gentiles and that's why in the Talmud the Jews explain that Jesus Christ is a bastard ["Jesus was born a bastard," now I don't remember which verse it was], because it's a bastardized archetype, that is, it's a deception for Gentiles, it's not for the use of a Jew.

Historically, Christianity spread exclusively among Gentiles, the Jews of that time remained Jews of Judaism, Pagan Gentiles were converted into Christians. Christians also did some persecution of Jews for this, precisely because Jews did not accept Jesus Christ despite the Jewish genealogy of this fictional character. Because Christianity was not made for them, but for the Gentiles.
So focus on Zeus. Zeus has a Gentile origin. Jesus is for the Gentiles, but he is not Gentile.
