Is the Sepher Yetsira a reliable reading source ? The Sepher Yetsira is one of the main cabalistic books of today, because it describes some characteristics of each of the Hebrew letters and talks about their elemental, zodiac and planetary position, but reading it I wanted to know if it is a reliable source, because I am trying to study the Greek letters (from where most of the Hebrew letters were stolen), and as the characteristics of the stolen letters are similar I would like to know if it is reliable to use it to get an idea of the characteristics of the Greek letters.

Another question I have about the Greek letters is why some ancient letters were taken from the Greek alphabet ?

If Hodedcobra or any advanced member can answer I would appreciate it.

They were taken because it is one of the most Ancient ones, even more Ancient than "Phoenician". Modern history lies conveniently, saying that it's way more recent. Even the Runes which are dubbed as "Recent", have too much in common with Ancient Greek to ignore.

"Phoenicians" not only left nothing behind [name one Phoenician literary work like the Illiad?], and then the jews and others took from these and appropriated, after they had appropriated from Ancient Greek or other local sources. Jews created the most alien alphabet which has stolen elements from other alphabets, including Arabic, Egyptian, and Ancient Greek.

This Sefer book is just a bullshit book that has to do with Hebrew, and seldom has to do with anything about Ancient Greek. Despite of forms and alterations in names and letters, all these describe is about the Hebrew and not about the Greek. It's therefore to be discarded.

Ok now I am starting to doubt you. Why would you think a book on the Hebrew letters and Jewish kabbalistic practices could be helpful for anything.

For the same reason you once made a video denouncing the JoS. Ignorance.

I just used logic, the point of the Jews stealing our mantras is to be able to use them despite their alien soul, so in theory the basic characteristics of the stolen mantras should not be retained ?

For example the letter Shin, the Sepher Yetsira says that the letter Shin is of the fire element and affects the head in the frontal chakra region, while the Sin mantra, from which the Jews copied the Shin, is a mantra of the fire element and the Moon, and because of its connection with the Moon it affects the frontal chakra, here some of the characteristics were kept, in theory shouldn't it be possible to use this same logic in the other stolen letters ? For example knowing that Mi is a mantra of the water element because of its copy Mem, which the Sepher Yetsira says is of the water element.

Ok makes sense understood. I am not sure it works that way though always cause the Jews were trying to create their own system of magick but yes some of them could be stolen and the same but remember they were also stealing from other ancient alphabets. So some will end up wrong.

I may get a torrent of this book (not going to pay for this shit) because I am curious what each Hebrew letter does and have been for awhile. I feel I am at the level I would be able to understand

I know though there were apparently orders not to release this stuff so I won't I promise.

From what I have seen, there are several versions of the Sepher Yetsira, probably because they didn't want this knowledge to spread, but this seems to be the most accepted version among Kabbalists: http://www.workofthechariot.com/PDF/SeferYetzirah.pdf

The question is: "Why the interest in that when we already have much more powerful mantra already from Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieratic names?"

Despite all the knowledge already available I really like Greek letters, Greek culture in general, so I started to go after this knowledge, but since Greek kabbalah in research seems to have several sources that point to different things, I thought of the possibility of this use of the Sepher Yetsira to understand Greek more.
