Question #5619: Fixing communication problems with Mercury opposite Saturn

Intelligence is good, but communication skills cause difficulty connecting with other's due to over-seriousness and dullness of the voice. There is also not a lot of water elements/emotional receptivity.

What workings can be done to rectify this?

Working on your Throat chakra with Ansuz rune, and your Heart/Center chakra with Wunjo rune, will help your ability to connect with others better. When Mercury goes direct and in Virgo (Sept 11, 18, 25) you can do its square to improve your communication skills.

As for water, you can invoke water and program it to help with emotional receptivity, make sure to include something like "in healthy and beneficial ways for me" in your affirmation, because this can go very badly otherwise. If you don't want to invoke water, then invoke energy of the Moon, or use SHRIM mantra if you prefer to use mantras instead of invoking energy. Next month's Full Moon in Pisces would be great for this.
