Should I take vitamins like calcium from first month?

It’s been only 2.5 months now and I’ve been prescribed foci acid only and said I’ll be given vitamins after 3 months. Why?

Get pregnancy vitamins from the lifeextension brand. Also be careful about too much vitamin c as it can lead to abortion.

It is not a bad idea to supplement, especially for micronutrients that tend to be lacking in the typical diet.

But you should research and select a formulation that is designed for pregnant women. Find a high quality, reputable brand, because the supplement industry is not regulated so you want to find one that is not contaminated with heavy metals, mold or other pollutants, and whose vitamin content is true to the label.

Also, make sure to avoid alcohol, smoking/vaping, other recreational drugs, and caffeine during pregnancy. Otherwise, the child can be born with deformities, specific illnesses, dumb, or with mental illness even. Your child's wellbeing is top priority.

I would stick to your doctors reccomendations if you want additional vitamins targets foods that contain high levels of them, vitamins in the early stages of pregnancy can result in unexpected often bad results, furthermore many supplements are highly adulterated and impure, you dont want to accidently poison your baby by eating some dodgy supplment.
