Question #4877: Can my Root Chakra be blocked?

I know that the Root Chakra is one, that is normally open for everyone, because without it people couldn't be alive. Though, I've wondered if it's possible to have a partially blocked Root Chakra, or one which malfunctions. I don't know the correct term, not a native speaker but hope it comes through still. I had this sensation around the very end of my spine through the majority of my life, it's very similar to ants crawling/buzzing/slight electricity. It became must more frequent since I started meditating, and at times the sensation feels overwhelming and makes me uncomfy, other times it's just there but doesn't bother me. I've read that normally, blockages can be detected, because you'II get symptoms on the Chakra under the malfunctioning one. I've read that it can cause pooling of energy, heat, pain, pressure, etc. I have none of those, but one thing that threw me off-track about it that it was mentioned a few times that if the Crown chakra is the one malfunctioning you can get the crawlies on the top of your head too. Cuz the energy is going around the chakra, not travel through it. Is it possible to get the crawlies/electricity/buzz on the Root chakra too? I think it would kind of makes sense because the Crown chakra is the last chakra that is connected to the physical body, and the Root is the first, so maybe those two give out different symptoms if they do malfunction. But it's just a theory of mine, so not sure about it. What you guys think about this? Also, how can a malfuntioning Root Chakra manifest?
