Is it shameful or "wrong" for you to go back on something? I left my home country to come to another and try for a better life, but I decided that I will go back and make my life there (my home country)
I live in a small town in the interior, it's not very evolved compared to a big city or another country, but it's possible to live

I wouldn't say it is inherently shameful or anything like this. Things change in life, based on the situation or our desires. Yes, this can create friction or stress, but so can many things, including staying in a negative situation. So it is all case-dependent and shouldn't be broadly painted as shameful.

Of course, you should also consider other social and financial factors here, as this also influences the success of your judgement.
