So meditation and yoga have been doing wonders. I can feel myself healing and feeling better and better day by day. I've been at it for almost a year now. Some days I even get out of bed laughing and smiling when in the past I was depressed. I grew up in a narcissistic Christian family structure and was made the scapegoat/emotional trash can. They would try to guilt, shame, insult, and love bomb to get me to behave how they wanted to fit a picture-perfect Christian family rather than actually deal with our broken family structure. I was the scapegoat because I always told the truth and called out the BS. I finally separated from them and I feel amazing thanks to yoga. That's the backstory to my question so I just wanted to know how can I speed up the healing process. Somedays I can literally feel the trauma being released from my body. And is it even recommended to speed up the healing process?
