Hi,
Depression and anxiety are most often caused by negative planetary transits.
Given time - anxiety will disappear on its own as long as you stay active and reflect on how things make you feel.
It's my personal philosophy that psychological issues can and should only be overcome with psychological exercises.
Ask yourself: What are you anxious about? Is your anxiety brought on by external pressures being placed on your mind? Or is it triggered by being apprehensive about something out of your control (like worrying about a future event)? Is the cause of your depression and anxiety emotional trauma?
Whatever exercise you decide to do I **very strongly** advise you to watch this video by Sadhguru on eliminating anxiety:
One Thing You Must Do to Overcome Anxiety

Exercises that can I have personally used with success are:
1. Prayer Mudra. Bring your hands together in prayer position, hold, and breathe slowly for 10 mins. Prayer mudra balances both sides of the mind.
2. Simply visualizing the DAGAZ rune shining in the middle of your head brings peace as the visualized energy of the rune balances both hemispheres.
3. SATANAMA. This is the powerful and positive mantra of mental, physical, and spiritual energetic balance.
4. Getting enough sunlight. Go out in the morning when the sun is just rising and simply sit in its light for 10 mins. Lack of sunlight and vitamin D is the most common cause of anxiety and depression.
5. Physical Exercise such as weightlifting releases serotonin that helps eliminate anxiety and improve physical and mental.
6. Hatha and Kundalini Yoga.
7. Visualize yourself covered in ice and relaxing with your out head will dramatically slow down any racing thoughts and greatly calm your mind. This is very similar to the positive aspects of the ISA rune except you won't be associating yourself with its vibration.
8. CLEAN YOUR AURA.

can anxiety be a problem in any chakra? if so, which one? Thanks to power medications and a lot of cleansing, I've been cured of depression but not anxiety. It's complicated, I want to eat non-stop, chewing gives me a relief and not to mention that I had a very restless night's sleep, I move a lot but I was out of control (last night) and on days when it's "calmer" I still think a lot, my mind doesn't stop, I know there's a meditation that can help with this but it gives a momentary relief then it comes back, I've been like this for years and I think something "stronger" is needed.
