One of the strongest meditations I've found

This was shown to us in a book that had a picture of an ancient Hindu yantra that contains the symbolic images of the letters and how to place them. The full meaning was given to us directly.
Do you mean a mandala ?
Btw, how do you actually work with the yantras and mandalas ? I think this should be an important topic to be covered in itself and i think as a HP whose written so much about vedic system of spirituality , none is better than you for this job.

The point is he was asking for specific books which makes sense. However there is no specific book for his question it was an image with no explanation of its meaning.

Now you can find this image in several books but the easier is on the cover of  the book "Yoga" by Alain Danielou you can find this image online with a search.

Now  look at the cover Ganesha is red and in the root chakra the color red is the R letter in Sanskrit kabala. Then you have Brahma in the navel, Brahma rules the letter A, Visnu in the solar, Visnu rules the letter U and Shiva in the heart and Shiva rules the letter M. Ganesh is also connected to Shiva as His son and here He is shown with His consort and this usually involves the son Ganesh the R. In the throat shows Sada Shiva which represents the element of Ather which is the A letter in Sanskrit Kabala the next chakra the solar disc is shown which is the symbol of the U letter in Sanskrit and the next the crown chakra, Shiva is placed in the crown Hinduism and Shiva is the letter M. This is how much you have to search thought with this stuff I wouldn't have known this is if I was not shown this and later I was shown the rest in different books. A lot of people wouldn't even understand that Sada Shiva and Brahma are the letter A. They don't understand the Tantra Traditions and their histories.

Further into Tantric images the left and right side and front and back are shown as male and female, literally one half God the other Goddess and the back and front as well. Then the letters that go with such.

Yantra can be like a mandala but its focus is on specific's. Its simple take the yantra of the chakra's that have the bija mantra's inscribed in them. That chakra has this mantra vibrated into it. For a yantra to be meaningful it has to have the mantra with it.

Yeah that'd need some demonic guidance to decipher . I wouldn't have ever known wtf the image means if i were on my own.

But what do you do with the diagram itself. I take the mantra inscribed within the diagram and vibrate it in the chakra.Do I do void meditation with eyes open on the diagram while doing it ?

The yantra is the diagram of how to use the mantra. That is why the eastern texts state a yantra without the mantra is worthless.

Cant be a coincidence, I have started the Iron Shirt and it brought up the microcosmic orbit. Didn't think it was important to know right away but taking this as a sign. Thank you for bumping the post.

Hey, what was your experience with iron shirt and microcosmic orbit?
I really want to start it but I don’t want to waste my time on it if it’s not worth it.

There's definitely something to this practice but I felt like I was wasting time with the sources I was using. Either watered down or a scam to keep buying more of an author's books while he gives limited knowledge if he has any in the first place.

The breath of fire seems to be connected to this practice. That with the study of the fascia from a TCM or holistic point of view might be a better route.

What I've understood so far is that the point is to raise energy, for example, with BoF you mentioned as that suits this purpose really well, and then to direct this energy to certain areas to bolster that said area.

That's what I understood as well.

Speaking of the Breath of Fire. If done it correctly where the bottom lungs are expanding from all areas including the bottom then after the final breath where there's a full inhale, blows to the area between the lungs and stomach are less intense when focusing there. I am saying this last part as that seems to be an easy way to test this practice if antone rlse wants to try it. Please don't hurt yourselves and start off gentle as even a person going %50 but with an accurate punch in that spot CAN knock your breath out.

The above is a recent experience (minus the last sentence) but I do plan on continuing, gradually.

Okay. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
I was having doubts myself already, I was checking out the book it seems like bits and pieces of it are pretty good like you said but you’re right it does seem to be watered down. I did some more research and I found the circulating energy meditation we have on the website was very similar to microcosmic orbit and it also says it’s used by martial artists, and I’ve been feeling great with that one, I’ve done it multiple times now. Yea I’m gonna see what I can study. I want to actually compete in full contact martial arts so I was hoping to take it seriously.
