Hello all,

Recently, trance training has been my bigger area of focus for my meditations to quickly get back to the level I was at several years ago before I left for a time. I wanted to share with you all a technique that came to me during meditation to fall into a trance extremely quickly (results may vary) to your benefit:

1. Sit upright comfortably and focus on controlled breathing (count to 4 or 6 as you are familiar with).

2. Focus on each part of the body. Scan it and relax. You will get more quick with this over time.

3. Tune into the "sound" or latent frequency/vibration in your ears. Focus on this when you feel relaxed and simply just let go and let the vibration or "sound" be all that your being focuses on.

And that's pretty much it. I've found I can enter a trance in a few minutes as opposed to 20 minutes. When I start to pull out of this to do power meditation and visualization, I noticed my visualizations are much more vivid and dreamlike to the point where it is almost hypnagogic.

Good luck with this and have fun. Let me know if this works for you or if there is anything else you'd like to add.

Hail Victory!

Thank you for this!! I was wondering if you knew how to "feel" the effect of climbing down the ladder? I can imagine it, but I have a hard time feeling myself actually do it. Thank you for the new techniques and hope we both advance!!

I personally do not use that technique. However, the main point of that meditation is to induce a falling effect in your body/mind. The way to do this is to be deeply relaxed in meditation and let go. This can take quite a while for some at first The falling sensation will usually come on its own. Using my technique it is induced pretty quickly (anywhere from 2-15 minutes, depends on the day really).

What's important is that you do not constantly check in with yourself during meditations to see if you're doing this or that right or wrong and that you do not try hard during meditations! The most important thing is to relax and let go. If at any point you feel like you're exerting yourself to accomplish something in meditation, you need to realign yourself and come back to center and calm down.

I have a particularly analytical mind. Every time I tried trance, initially, I had a really hard time relaxing my mind.

I will try this technique to see if it helps me relax, even if lately it is already improving. Thanks for sharing it

My pleasure. If you had a chance to try it out, please let me know what you thought and how it felt for you.
