My favorite Canadian. Survivorman Les Stroud. The original survival show, and the only one that is real. He didn't have a crew of people helping him and filming him, building everything for him, and sleeping in a hotel at night like the fraud Bear Grills. He goes in alone, carrying all his own camera equipment, and filmed everything himself. He did everything for real. Entertaining and there are also full of useful lessons.


He put every episode to watch for free on his youtube channel. Everything that he filmed, and also a Director's Commentary he made for each episode. Also his music recordings, interviews with other people, and guides for harvesting and cooking wild edible plants. You can go to the Playlist tab to see everything sorted in different categories.

If you like Ghost Adventures, you will like Unearthing the Supernatural. They have been on some episodes of Ghost Adventures, but they also make their own show on youtube. For just some young men with a camera and a youtube channel with no large budget, it is surprising to see how high quality it ends up. It looks just like a show made by an expensive television channel.

They are Navajo, which is one of the civilizations who follow our Gods. They don't have all of the information that we have here, but they have a far higher understanding of spiritual things than most people. The show is similar to Ghost Adventures, but the focus is on actually helping the people's souls to move on and agree to reincarnate. And on removing dangerous and evil things from a location, and helping to protect the innocent souls that are there.
