I read on the Joy of Satan website about an alien race that enslaved
the human race into mining gold. This seems too far fetched for me,
could i have more information on this subject?

pretty much here's what happened, a race of aliens (gods) similar to
us in appearence took one of their sperm and artificially inseminated
it with a monkey or something to make humans. we where supposed to be
nothing but slaves but satan and his demons wanted to give us
knowledge and power so we could pretty much become gods. then the
other gods got pissed at satan and where somehow able to beat him and
his demons and banish them. the enemy gods created
islam/christianity/judism to make satan look like the bad guy and keep
humans ignorant. In a way this helps back the theory up, you have 3
different gods in 3 different religons but in all 3 the bad guy is satan.

Read the Lost Book of Enki about that, most of it is taken from
Sumerian tablets. If you believe that Satan and the Demons are real
beings and created humanity, then they can't be anything else but
extraterrestrials. Spirits can't create something material. It's not
that hard to grasp.

Ever wonder why people like shiny things? =P
Although I somewhat agree that it sounds far-fetched, think about it..
You think some big invisible guy that created himself and lives in
heaven, and is everywhere, who destroys entire cities because of
unfaithfulness and then tells us he is loving and turns people into
pillars of salt for disobeying... is less far-fetched?

Al Jilwah: Chapter IV

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Satan
