Living as a Monk for the Joy of ΣΑΤΑΝΑΣ:

There’s a high chance that anyone who comes across the *Joy of ΣΑΤΑΝΑΣ* for the first time and decides to follow this path has, at least once, thought about living a monk-like life for this journey.

But let’s take a closer look—who exactly is a monk?

Who is a Monk?
Monks are individuals who separate themselves from society or live in solitude to dedicate part or all of their lives to a religion. Alternatively, they may reside within an organized community, devoting their full time to religious life.
In summary:
A monk is someone who dedicates part or all of their life to a spiritual path or religion.

Now, what about a monk-like life for those on the *Joy of ΣΑΤΑΝΑΣ* path?
Do we all need to live like monks to ultimately reach our goals on this journey?

The Freedom to Choose Your Lifestyle
First and foremost, everyone here is an individual free to choose their way of life. We are born free, and Lord Lucifer supports our freedom, encouraging us to fight to preserve it.
These are questions relevant not only to newcomers but to anyone on the *Joy of ΣΑΤΑΝΑΣ* path.

Let’s first explore what the lifestyle of a monk entails.

---

What is the Lifestyle of a Monk Like?
The life of a monk is, in many ways, highly regimented.

Daily Routine:
Monks typically wake up early, often before sunrise, to begin their daily schedule, which includes prayer, meditation, and work. While specific activities vary, monks generally spend several hours a day in prayer or meditation, attend communal meals, and engage in work or study.

In short, monks lead highly disciplined lives: they wake early, dedicate themselves to prayer and meditation, and attend to other responsibilities.

Is Separating from Society the Right Choice for a Spiritual Satanist?
For someone choosing a monk-like life as a spiritual Satanist, is isolation from society the right decision?

Personally, I’m not a very outgoing or social person; I prefer spending most of my day alone. But that’s just *my personal choice*. It’s something I’m comfortable with and know suits me based on my self-awareness.

What about you? This isn’t a question I can answer for you—it’s something you must decide for yourself.

However, there are guiding principles to consider, such as the **"XVII. Reincarnation Ethics"**, which teaches us:
- “We should work on ourselves to achieve our highest potential in this life, as our time is precious.”

Self-awareness and understanding the world around us are forms of spiritual growth that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Isolation and detachment from the world can lead you to close your eyes to many things and forget them. Our gods encourage us to learn, understand, and explore everything—they are supporters of human science and knowledge.

Do Monks Have Free Time?
What do monks do in their leisure time?
This depends on their responsibilities for the day. Some days leave no room for leisure at all.

Some may believe that leisure is a waste of time and shouldn’t be prioritized in their daily schedule. That’s a personal choice, too. However, a little recreation is never harmful—as long as you dedicate sufficient time and energy to your other responsibilities.

You can be a monk, but that doesn’t mean you stop being a friend, a neighbor, a football player, a young man, or even just a kid. Monks, like anyone else, can enjoy various activities during their free time.

---

Conclusion
In the end, anyone here can choose and begin a monk-like lifestyle based on their circumstances and desires.

We, along with the help of our gods, are the saviors of our world. Every step of progress on this path is invaluable for ourselves, our people, and our gods.

In many cases, adopting a monk-like lifestyle might just be an excuse:
Perhaps you’re simply tired of the noise in your city, the overwhelming responsibilities in life that seem insignificant, or your own carelessness and lack of discipline. Maybe you want to feel better and have more time by eliminating distractions from your life.

If you’re dedicating part of your life to self-improvement, meditation, and your spiritual path, you are already living like a monk in many ways.

HPS Maxine told me once to watch movies (I rarely watch movies or tv), to have leisure time. And the Gods encourage us to live life.

It's perfectly normal for some of us to be more solitary, introverted, homebodies, etc. But we are never obligated to remain like this all the time. We are not supposed to close off all social interactions or completely avoid any fun time with others. In fact by socializing with others, we can help bring them up. They can see that not everyone acts like the usual andrapoda and they will be intrigued by us, they will consider perhaps becoming more like us at least a bit. By socializing you can be a real role model to the people in your life.

Life is meant to be lived :)

Hi HPS Lydia.💛🌅 I am so glad you saw my post.:)
You are absolutely right. I have been thinking a lot about how to live a better life. And I understand what you said. :).
I'm spending a little more time with people and friends now and I want to move away from isolation.
I hope all our brothers and sisters are happy and protected by our Gods.🌅
Hail Lord Satan ☀️.

It is necessary to find the right balance.
Our Sacred Path is certainly the priority but that does not necessarily imply complete isolation.
I realized this only a short time ago.

This post falls right in line with my situation.

I am an "extremist" person and over these years I have given everything for JoS, for the Spiritual War and for my work career by cutting relationships with everyone and isolating myself.
This has led me to Triumph and take an immense leap forward.

Now it's time to try new positive experiences and enjoy the Beauty of Life while continuing firmly to work for me and the Gods !

Hello udutthu,

So can a spiritual satanist become a shaolin monk for example, so following chan/zen buddhism?

Hello

Monks are individuals who separate themselves from society or live in solitude to dedicate part or all of their lives to a religion. Alternatively, they may reside within an organized community, devoting their full time to religious life.
In summary:
A monk is someone who dedicates part or all of their life to a spiritual path or religion.

Monks come from these self-denying religions that believe that the material world is evil or an illusion. Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. You will not find them in any religions that do not deny the material world. There are no Muslim monks or Shinto monks or Pagan monks. Not even Protestant monks, only Catholic and Eastern Orthodox in Christianity.

And the monks of these religions practice celibacy and a vow of poverty because they believe these things are evil and interfere with their self-denying religion. Their being a monk is directly related to viewing the material world as evil or something to overcome, and all the monk orders have this as their basis.

That's why the whole idea of a monk is not compatible with Spiritual Satanism. Spiritual Satanism doesn't see the material world as evil or something to overcome.

This is simply a way of saying that life revolves around the spiritual practice, no need for this nonsense.

Living as a Monk for t.
Good post.
One day I will become a monk and fulfill all my desires.
And I will experience the greatest of pleasures

While a Spiritual Satanist will often find themselves in disagreement with society, it's their duty to improve it. If Hitler had stayed at home to do meditations all day, Europe as we know it today would not exist. Yes, he did meditate, but that was only one aspect of his life.

Hello
As a spiritual Satanist you can do and be whatever you want to be, you don't need to ask anyone, just go in the world and be you, do you, be the best version of yourself that there can be.

If you think and wish for some time a solitude and just going exploring for a bit then go live in a forest with just a tent for two weeks and the minimal requirments to live and then think about becoming a Monk. Also , by being away for years , how would you be up to the newest rituals and meditations that will pop up? For real now, think.
