Should I avoid watching porn at all costs? To be honest, I wanted to delete all my favorite porn videos from my phone after reading some advice from SS here, but I've just read HP's Hooded Cobra's sermon on porn and in that sermon he doesn't seem to be saying to completely give up watching porn. Now I'm confused
You should look at what happens to your brain on porn. There are studies who show that.
In general, you don't need porn to be aroused at all. No kind of pornographic material is needed to become aroused, whether it's a video or a picture.
Porn creates a dependency on those media outlets, slowly and steadily. It comes to a point where you can no longer be aroused without pornographic material. It gradually kills that ability inside of you.
The natural ways of arousal are as follow:
:arrow: seeing a hot person of your preferred sex, in person;
:arrow: visualising someone you have a crush on or your dream lover;
:arrow: visualising your current lover, if you have one;
:arrow: being with your current lover, if you have one;
:arrow: being with a sexual operator, when we'll have sexual operator that are hygienic, healthy, and know sexual tantric practices, like in the past. (Modern sexual operators are usually ignorant, unfit, and often carry STDs)
What is the difference?
The difference is that, in the natural ways, your brain takes an active role and the parts of your brain that are involved in this endeavour grow and become more easily accessed.
In the artificial/enemy ways of arousal, your brain stays switched off. If you don't use those parts of the brain, they start shrinking (atrophy) and calcifying. That's why the ability to become aroused is gradually lost.
It's also the same in using audio-visual media versus reading. Reading fiction will always be better, as your brain will be prompted to imagine the situation happening. Reading trains your brain's creativity, and your ability to visualise different situations, etc. Most people cannot visualise anyone based on random traits they are given, because they are used to watching films and tv shows, which does the job for them. This will, in turn, weaken your spells, especially when you're trying to attract people with physical traits of your choosing, as you will always automatically visualise someone you've already seen, rather than making it up from scratch. In love spells, this confuses the energies, as this will go toward a person that is not your target. In general, every time you'll need to visualise something you'll be at a loss.
Disclaimer 1:You should also remember that visualising is not only about pictures. It's also about tactile sensations, feelings, smells, tastes, sounds, etc. It's the complete sensual experience as it would be happening in real.
Disclaimer 2: I'm not saying you should never watch TV shows, films and other audio-visual material either. I'm only saying that you should do it with moderation. So, not on a daily basis, but occasionally. For example, in the weekend or the holidays, etc. Many people nowadays seem to have too much time on their hands...
