Hi, I'm jj. I did a dedication ritual a few months back and I think it was valid but I'm not quite sure. I did everything accordingly but I just didn't have a black candle. I did it in my astral temple aswell. My friend is also a dedicated satanist but he refuses to see me as one untill I do it with a black candle, thus he's refusing to help and teach me what he knows. But I'm still convinced my way was valid, what do you guys think?

It is in your heart that counts, Satan can see if your intentions were honest. As for your friend, be careful, no real Satanist would refuse to see you as a friend/Satanist because of a thing like that. You don't need a mentor anyway, Gods are here to help you, and this group.

Your friend by his actions has already proven he knows very little. He has nothing to mentor you about. Dino Dizdareic is right in his advice.

looks like I do not have to say much at all, but I do strongly agree with what dino and keeper said, be wary of this 'friend' because he is no Spiritual Satanist, if he is that ignorant.

only thing that matters is a small drop of blood (atleast having a cantle to burn the ritual writings) and True Intentions.

also I want to add, it seems to is pulling this 'mentoring' act over your head to manipulate you, True Spiritual Satanist do not ever get mentored by someone, they may ask questions on the groups from time , but the only True mentors are the Gods of Duat.

you will know much much more than him and he will be the one begging for you to mentor him (which seems to be the type your friend is, someone not willing to do the work themselves, and to manipulate whomever they can) this is just pure speculation though.

Even if he does ask you to mentor him after you research, i strongly advise to not do so, and repeat a version of what i said above to him.

I for one do not have any friends except for all of my Brothers and Sisters in Satan

for example I Consider Keeper and Dino a Friend.
