For those who are familiar with the Iliad, I have a quote from AI, but when I cross reference it with different open source copies of the Iliad, and my own paper copy of the Iliad, this particular quote from Zeus is purged (or never existed)

"Lo, how vainly do mortals blame the gods! For of us they say come evils, whereas they even of themselves, through their own blind folly, have sorrows beyond that which is ordained."
Iliad, Book 1, lines 32-34, based on the standard Loeb Classical Library edition (1924, translated by A.T. Murray)
.

Can any of you find it?

It reminds me of a quote from Odysee, in the first book, in the first lines.

AI makes quotes up. I’ve seen it done multiple times.

It is from the Odyssey (1.32-35), not the Iliad.

AI frequently confuses the sources of anything by any author or makes summaries into quotes because most works are paywalled. Be careful when using it.

Al Jilwah: Chapter IV

"It is my desire that all my followers unite in a bond of unity, lest those who are without prevail against them." - Shaitan
