Greetings: my name is J-SIN. I AM in somewhat of a similar situation. Last August I broke my back becoming a paraplegic. I cannot leave my house either(unless its a medical appointment via medical transportation) I as well have to keep what I do secret, so what I did is have someone get me a pre-paid credit card and monthly have my social security check deposited on it. This way I can order what I need offline. There are still issues involved, such as privacy and a place for an alter. Are you able to use a wheelchair? (Some personal questions, if I may-no need to answer if this is a problem) I ask this as there is need for turning during ritual. This is not even a real problem, as on the JOS site under,"Meditation's" there is one about creating an "Astral Temple". For people in our situations(as well as other's, of course) this is probably the best bet.
This is all, of course, most useful after initiation; as far as drawing blood(if none of this is of any help, I most sincerely apologize, as I know nothing of your illness)if you are able to get ahold of a razor(4 shaving) this is easy to hide to take apart for the small cut) apart from this, if it is a possibility, you can easily, and "innocently" ask some one to pick up a dark blue-or, at Yankee Candle, there is a black, nicely smelling ( "for Aroma Therapy-4 relaxing-you can tell whoever) candle called something like "Midsummer nights dream" (?). Then all you need is a clean piece of paper, and a night once everyone is asleep!

I do ALL my workings in my astral temple! That way I am not limited in any way by location or lack of props. (Remember, the ideal is to be able to work without props.)
You can set it up however you wish and you can change it as you wish and stock it with whatever you require. Mine, for instance, looks like a cross between a kiva and something from Star Wars; there's huge freedom here to construct it, add to it, eliminate something from it, whatever ... the way YOU want.
Not only are your workings more powerful and focused (at least that's my experience) it lowers the privacy issue to virtually nil; all you require is some peace and quiet. I've suggested it to Satanic brothers\sisters in various occupations and arrangements, such as miners in camps, those living in crowded conditions (even if they didn't have to practice in secret--& all the more important for those who do), perennial travelers, etc. and they have found it works well.
Also, keep in mind that you don't have to wait until your astral temple is "perfect", exactly the way you want it before you can use it. I think they are always a work in progress to some extent anyway. I know mine has evolved over the years and continues to do so. Just set it up, dedicate it to Satan's work in whatever way works for you, and start using it and the changes\additions\deletions will come to you over time.
As for dedication, I don't see why this couldn't be done in your astral temple as well, especially considering the circumstances. Perhaps someone else will weigh in here on that aspect of the subject. Satan looks at our hearts; our sincerity. There are many sacred things we can do inside the astral temple.

In JOS it say, "You should construct your temple during ritual, where you can ask Father Satan to bless it. Meditate for as long as you need to construct your own place. This should be done after the invocation where you write a request for Satan to bless and consecrate your temple"
--If our astral temple's purpose is to be able to do rituals "there" instead of 'here' b/c of privacy issues, then how is someone supposed to do a ritual to create it in the first place? This simply tells me one is gonna have to find some way to do a ritual and then get enough meditation time to create it. Kinda contradictory in a weird way.
I just finished my first non-dedication ritual as my roommate is gonna be gone for a while. It was a thanksgiving ritual. Had some issues.
1. My candle (a 7 day black candle) got to the point where it goes really dim and sometimes goes out in a lake of wax. For some reason its not 'advancing down' its stuck in a pool of wax within the candle.
2. When i am holding my athame i held it with my right hand while i followed the verbiage and directions for the grand satanic ritual. Should i hold it with both? I didn't memorize the ritual or things to say, so i read it as i did it type deal. Is that normal? How do most of you do it?
3. I was scared out of my mind that the fire alarm would go off. You don't understand, this is a military installation fire alarm. If it goes off there will be 2-3 firetrucks outside my building (in under 5 min) with firefighters heading straight for my room b/c they are all wired to the Fire departement on the military installation (so they know the exact alarm that went off). And...we are not allowed to have such fire hazards (candles/incense) in the rooms/buildings, so if that happens i would get in trouble and it would also lead to questions as to what i was doing. Plus, they can tell when it is disconnected or even covered by a plastic bag. I had to run the fan to suck air outside. When i lit the paper, i opened the window and fanned it out the window all the while hoping the alarm doesn't go off. It was nerve racking to say the least.
4. None of my items were consecrated. The last full moon was this last sunday 21 but i had no privacy and it required me to light incense so that just wasn't gonna work out.
Other than that the meditation after the burning was good, got trance type feelings faster than i ever have and could feel an interesting pulse/vibrations in my body that i normally don't get from meditations. And as always for some reason when i meditate, i get the dizzy feeling. Focusing on the front of my body doesn't normally fix it. At least its a roller coaster like experience. I would describe it as my Astral body moving but that's probably not what is happening.

I suppose you could call it a ritual in a sense, but I constructed mine in the course of a meditation\working especially for that purpose. I have never used "physical" props, but I have plenty of things in my temple. From there I do practically everything.
You can conduct any ritual on the astral, including the initial one to construct your temple (and perhaps watch it taking shape around you at that time; it's impossible to describe the experience as it's varied and unique to each person.) At least I did and it worked perfectly well and continues to work excellently.

I've built several astral temples (I've had several destroyed, don't ask) and I never constructed one during ritual. I could have, I just ended up not doing so. I read about astral temples ages ago and just decided to construct one for myself. I actually had an astral temple before I was a dedicated Satanist.
Asking Father to bless will help fortify it though. I strongly suggest doing things like filling it with Satanic energy and stating "only those of Satan may enter or reside here." I would build it with strong defenses, just in case it ever comes under attack. The more you visit the temple, the strong it gets. The astral is purely energy. Revisiting your astral temple several time reaffirms the energy that is your temple that it is indeed a temple, and not blank energy.
If you make a temple, and do not visit it for a rather prolonged period of time. It will get stagnant, lose its shape and deteriorate.

I've never really put any time into creating an astral temple, but when ever the subject comes up, the image of a certain building appears in my mind. It looks like a tower/pyramid or a skinny pyramid. It's even completed on the inside. Anyone know why?

Oddly enough, though, when I tried to build an astral temple, I went into trance and went there... it was a cliff overlooking a vast valley with mountains on the other side. The place itself was a.. ruins. It had vines on walls and pillars, it had no roof. Just the arches, walls and some columns. But it was tidy 
so, deteriorated state as it was.. dunno.. I was there later maybe three times. I know, I have to be there more often. Perhaps even do its initiation and blessing sequence again... But anyway, I ´m sure I am not going to "restore" or build it up again, because it felt very nice there as it was
