I bought coconut oil and olive oil. Both are pure and all that. Just plain ol' coconut and olive.
How many different ways can i use it for my hair and skin? I think someone mentioned they use coconut oil as lotion. I wasn't able to buy all the ingredients to make my own lotion yet, but i think the coconut oil will suffice for now.
Thank you all in advance! Hail Satan and the Gods!

I read about the various uses of coconut oil. Apparently it can thicken and lengthen your eyelashes and help with eczema. Coconut oil is awesome xD But does it really stain? And how well does it work as a deodorant by itself?

The oils can work good for the hair too as a warm/hot oil conditioner treatment and to be washed out.
Once, I had a minor eye infection and added a dab of coconut oil into it and the next day it was gone. Coconut oil is a good antimicrobial and has saturated fats that are healing of the skin since the skin cells are also made of saturated fats.

Yeah, I've used it on my hair and skin and so far it's working great :D
I'm curious about whether or not coconut oil can help someone with a cold or something. Can you add it to tea and drink it for more benefits? Can you take, like, a teaspoon of it as you take the hydrogen peroxide, daily? Since it's an oil, will it react to the hydrogen peroxide?

I used to have pretty dry skin on my hands and had to put lotion on them multiple times a day, especially after washing them.

Since I switched to only coconut oil on my skin about 4 years ago, my hands are never dry. I put on coconut oil everywhere after my shower in the mornings and I never have to reapply on my hands no matter how many times I wash them in the day. Coconut oil is amazing.

I also put it in my hair overnight to wash out the next morning, about once a week. I do the same with olive oil as well.

Yeah, my hands were starting to get really dry. Especially the ring and middle fingers on my right hand. It already got so bad there that it was cracking and super painful. But the coconut oil is workong wonders ^-^ Not like my lotion ever did.
On another topic in this group, i believe someone mentioned that sometimes people can have bad acne because their skin is dry. I assume coconut oil is the solution to that. And if someone has very dry eyes, can using coconut oil in them help? The condition I'm thinking of -- i can't recall the name -- is caused by really dry eyes that have been exposed to a lot of sun (i think that's how the person afflicted worded it) and now have these yellow spots that look like a buildup of something. I'll try to find the name of the condition, but would coconut oil work to reverse that?

If the condition is caused by very very dry eyes then it seems that the afflicted person is lacking adequate amount of tears. Tears are made up of water, fat and mucus. The person should avoid extreme exposure to sun when out.
You can try the coconut oil since it has fatty saturated acids in them and can balance the cells as far as adding moisture. Coconut oil is also known to be a mild sunscreen. If done right, one could make their own eye drops which can definitely include Hyaluronic acid and a base fat. Or one can just buy one.
Hyaluronic acid is substance that has a stunning ability to replenish moisture and attract and hold onto it. Its the skin very supple and youthful. it is also good for sensitive and red rashy dry skin.
I am not sure about its removal by the drops and or coconut oil can prevent it from getting worse .Perhaps the skin will loosen from the moisture and heal the eyes.
Although, I am sure it can be removed through a light procedure but may be expensive for some. An alternative can be by removing it using a small working.

Coconut oil is an immune booster/corrector and can aid in assisting one to heal when they are sick and have many kinds of infections. It benefits one to take coconut oil daily. Many have healed or lessened diseases with it. It also helps one to loose weight. It is a very healing and healthy fat.
So yes, you can add it to tea or take a spoonful of it. Just space it out if you are also taking oxygen therapy.

Okay, thank you very much :D All I'd need to take is a spoonful? How many times daily would you recommend?

Dosage all depends. For general health and maintenance, one heaping tablespoon can suffice.
To heal a specific ailment. Two tablespoons a day works.
