How to be a satanist?

What does it take to be a real spiritual satanist? Like what should I be doing everyday?

I meditate and do some of the hatha yoga stretches on the Jos but idk if I’m advancing and some days I feel worse.

I tired of being stuck in a rut and I want to take control of my life now!

I want to be truly dedicated as I can be!.

When one is a real Spiritual Satanist, they build a connection to the Gods.

The Gods, they look out for their own, if you are even showing an inkling of taking steps to advance, they will take note and be present for you with great patience and guidance.

The core aspect of Spiritual Satanism, is the relation and connection you build with the Gods. Therefore, you should be open to them and listen to them.

For any SS that is showing sincere interest and effort to advance, the Gods will be giving many advices, always, and always in ways that you can understand. It is up to you to listen to them and implement these.

However, many SS don't listen at all, they feel stuck because they do not let the Gods into their heart and lives. You must open up to them and work with them.

Look back on your journey, how much have you done with the Gods, what experiences have you had with them, how much have you been told and advised, and on the scale of 1-100, how much of their advice have you actually implemented in your life.

You aim for 100, but you won't have that to start, the Gods know that, therefore they show the greatest patience towards any disciples, however, you need to evaluate this and work on your relationship with the Gods, build trust with them and become a person that can follow them and listen.

That is a part that many are missing.

Without the Gods, there is no progress or advancement. They are the ones that lead you to the highest levels, and you must take the steps to do as you are advised in order to reach the highest levels and manifest this into reality.

If you are an SS and have no memorable experiences with the Gods at all, you are doing something terribly wrong. This must be rectified.

how do u hear the voice of our gods??I really want to communicate with them and want them too to talk to me??what exactly should I do??do u have any sermons of our HP's which talks of this??if so please attach it in your replies?

There are dozens of articles on this. Many pages on the JoS that talk about this.

Even if you aren't spiritually open enough to hear the Gods speak, or see them face to face, (this is normal for anyone who is new to Spiritual Satanism, and can take a number of years in some cases to develop), the Gods are always available and always there.

They are the eternally immutable existence, that which is always there no matter what time or age, no matter your circumstances or those of the world.

Have you sat down in meditation and spoken openly to them? Have you tried to listen? Signs can be given in numerous ways, they are given in ways that make sense to you and which you can receive.

You finding the JoS and asking me this question is in itself an answer given to you.

Meditation is the answer to these questions. Open your chakra's, empower them, meditate upon your astral senses, practice engaging your astral senses and your thought power.

Live your life in harmony with your soul, engage the reality of your soul, and bring those powers into your life through the spiritual work.

Live Spiritual Satanism, don't partake half heartedly.

Do you have the privacy to have an altar? If so, try to create this for yourself, as a point of focus and to bring Spiritual Satanism in a literal sense into your life.

If you cannot, find a moment to engage in this in other ways.

When I was new, one way I discovered that allowed me to connect to the Gods better was to sit in peace and quiet under the night sky, meditate upon the stars, and meditate upon the realization that They are out there.

They are watching me from the stars, and I am looking back, I am looking for them. Speak to them. Either to Satan, or to a Demon from the JoS that stands out to you, converse to them and understand they are listening even if you cannot hear them.

Express these feelings to Them, not to me.

Live with them in your life. That is the first step, but also the secret to knowing Them.

Exactly, I'm only getting into this nowdays, because I always thought that I could not say anything to the Gods, they would not care, they don't even have the time, I'm just still nobody to them, I felt like I'm a serf who wants to marry the king's daughter in the dark middle age.

Yes I'm still "nobody" in a lot of sense but I'm someone to the Gods. They care about everyone of us. They are so beyond our understanding, that they'll somehow have the time for you.

I'm having more and more experiencing with them, and not just with the rituals. they have helped me several times that I'm aware of. The usual instant reply that I got, to my prayer/talk to him is that I start to see the paper glowing that has Father Satan's sigil on.
It does not start glowing normally the same way, no matter how hard I try to visualize.
I hope this is not yet personal, and such information that I should not share.

I have found myself asking for signs just to feel like I'm noticed, and every time I want to ask for any aid related to something that is more meaningful I always have no idea how to approach it. I fumble my words (my mental words anyway) and it feels like I'm either too dull to catch on to their messages or they don't send any at all. I'm working through this mentality right now, as I've had a small event recently which led me to believe that I might have been visited by one of our beloved Demons or Gods.

I also find myself worrying too much about the props that I use for the initial rituals as well. It's hard, where I live, to find incenses that are actually good. As I am not doing amazingly financially, I either have to pay a very steep price for incense online (which is a gamble because I can't smell it before buying it), or buy cheaper ones, but risking the possibility of offending the God I'm trying to invoke, even if I'm not interested in upsetting them at all. I wanted to ask your opinion about this second issue in particular, do you think I should worry too much about the incense? How did you invoke a God for the first time?

The first step to being a real Satanist is doing the dedication ritual... I noticed a lot of people here come to ask questions when they haven't even passed the first phase... a lot of questions are automatically answered once you're dedicated. It takes a lot of mental change to accept to "burn in hell" forever... I'm not saying you'll burn in hell... you get the picture... once you dedicate your soul to Satan you have crossed a huge gap... then start the 40 days working program... the Gods/demons will always have time for you... you don't expect them to spend time on one who isn't dedicated but has the same problems as one who is dedicated.... please before you come here to ask certain types of questions... be very sure you have crossed the first step... initiation!!!!

An incense or a candle, or any prop means nothing compared to your mind, and intention. You definitely should not be concerned much about this. If you are in a store and see a good esoteric shop that sells these, or just any shop, than you can or should buy it, but really it has no much functionality.

In my latest experiences I did not light any candle or incense up, nor I was wearing any clothes, as I was just meditating, but decided to contact Satan.

Wearing clothes, lighting up a candle, is a kind gesture, but it is not blasphemy to not to light them up, or wear clothes.
In my opinion, being naked, or just wearing a minimal clothes symbolizes openness, and trust towards the gods.

The best way to go about this, is to participate in the ritual schedule, and do the God's ritual you want to contact, before contacting.

It is also good to take your time and meditate on their sigil.

If you don't know what works you should be doing to step forward, go to the Gods
If you have some big event in your life, that should go nice, go to the Gods
If you have a mayor problem, that is even shameful, or not, but is a big problem, go to the Gods

You should not expect them to do the dishes for you, but this does not mean that you should not share your life with them.
It really is a blessing to talk to them, especially when you get feedback. You may not get at first, you may need to be a little bit more advanced, a little bit more open, but after all, they are the only, and really, the only beings in the universe, that you can speak to without bonds regarding the topic. Who on earth would understand your deepest secretes if not them? who would help you reach astral projection if not them? Who would understand that you have no idea what work you should start, and tell you what to do if not them?
They are the best helpers really, and there are things that we on the forums can't help.

There are things that you should not bother them with, but anything related to your advancement, well being, or any of this sort, is worth their time. You should also be respectful, as much as you can.

You might start to feel good when speaking to them, you might start to feel something, you might start to have a strong thought that can help, you might start to see something (as I did previous times)

You should not contact them only when you expect them to do something for you, because that is probably what keeps you not contacting them or to feel shame. For beginners, outside of the rituals, maybe weekly once is good. Contact them weekly once. If there is more thing, you can contact them more, if there is really nothing happening in your life, you know what to do, than you don't have to contact them, although, Meditate on Satan's sigil even if you don't have to contact him.
This is a must. Meditate on his sigil at least once a week, if not daily.

Thank you very much for your tips. You're right, I sometimes have trouble differentiating what might be a waste of their time and what not. I've tried talking to them about recent events in my life and sometimes asked for their council and blessings. I am trying to make them a part of my life but without being annoying or pushy. It's also reassuring that the props are not the important part, as when I did the invocation ritual to Gremory, I took a shower, put on some of the nicest clothes I had around, even trimmed my beard, I was never as handsome as when I tried to invoke Gremory :lol: :lol: :lol: . I feared that maybe the incense was bad because it wasn't that good, but I can feel a bit better now.

With time I might get better at noticing signs, but I do sometimes notice synchronicities, or just events or happenings that are just too coincidental, and that help me answer a question or show me a direction. As for noticing the Gods nearby, I can tell you about that event I had that I think might have been a God/Goddess. I was just doing my regular night time meditation routine on my bed before going to sleep, and I suddenly feel a cool but light breeze around my face. My forehead then began to feel very tight, the area that is the third eye felt a lot of pressure, it was kind of intense, as if someone was pressing something on that area. I tried to take advantage of it and focus on the sensation. I believe I saw dark blue dots and a flashing white color, but I couldn't make much more of it. After what felt like 5 minutes the feeling went away gradually, and I then proceeded to fall asleep.
My brother was next to me in the room when that happened, but he was asleep, and there was no one else there. The windows and doors were closed, no air could've gotten through, so my conclusion was that someone might have been there in my room and...tried to open my third eye, maybe?

Anyhow I feel great about progressing, even if I may not be particularly gifted at this. I will definitely incorporate the weekly meditations, to Satan and to any Gods/Goddesses that I want to talk to.

I have been dedicated years ago but I think kinda dedicated my soul to soon before I read everything I was too eager after trying out the meditations and feeling my own soul energy buzz. I thought you had to dedicate immediately in order to do the meditations safely.
