I'm curious about this quote in the title.
If I have to guess, would it be that certain people would persevere even when their cause is hindering them? Or would it be something else like giving people a sense of security in a cause that doesn't benefits its believers? I... really can't tell at the moment. I'm just wondering how the quote fits into the current situation with Christians and Muslims.
Is it just me, or Nietzsche's works have a tendency to imply irony often?
