Good afternoon everyone, I need your help and advice. I have a hyperactivity and anxiety disorder that I think is caused by events in my childhood.

I constantly feel the need to move and I am not a static person. I have to fidget all the time, I have to change position every second. I don't sleep well at night because it makes me wake up at night. I can't stay in meditations for a long time, I'm constantly moving from room to room in meditations, I'm doing ridiculous movements. I feel the need to run and walk all the time, I don't feel energetic at all. Do you know of any health studies, what should I do?

Greetings my friend, I hope this finds you well. To my mind, it sounds like you may have issues with equilibrium & this needs to be balanced for overall health. Aside from meditation (chakra meditation, in my signature), I would recommend Qigong as it directly addresses equilibrium (to me it sounds like your Yin needs work).

Another resource, aside from what our High Priestess provided, can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/@BodhiMedicalQigong/videos

Whichever you find useful, I'd recommend searching those channels for quick morning/bedtime routines and videos specifically addressing balance between the Yin & Yang. I suspect this will allow you to take control of yourself more fully.

well you can still meditate but it of course has to be a modified version. look up "walking meditation" this will help you get in some meditating to give you some foundation. Next i suggest that you take a good hard look at what you are eating. if you are eating a typical western diet- lots of carbs, nonsaturated fat, and ultra prosessed food- then you will need to gradually shift your diet away from those things to a less inflamatory diet- vegetables, saturated fats such as butter and lard, fermented foods like sourkraut and pickles..... a good places to learn more about things like this is a site called Weston A Price Foundation. They have a podcast on which they also talk about disorders like adhd and anxiety with ways of how to deal with it. Good luck.

Hail Zeus.
